  • At least four people were injured when a cruise liner crashed into a port in the Italian city of Venice on Sunday. The incident has prompted authorities to address the city's lack of infrastructure in catering to large ships. Angela Murphy reports.

    That's what insurance is for. Poor rich people, they'll need a safeplace and some interviews with CNN.

    Cruise ship bring in revenue and tourist to that destination .
    Was the harbour pilot on board when this happened? Obviously
    the harbour pilot will know the current of the canal , the current
    Is very fast , that the the reason for
    the crash.

      Strong current in the lagoon? may be in the canal? a reason to use dead slow ahead to steer the ship with help of one, two, three tug boats astern (as necessary) to control the ship navigation, even in case of main engine failure..

      @Donnie V.The Harbour pilot knows the current flow of the canal , he should have advised whether or not a ship of this magnitude can enter port
