Italy Cruise Ship: MSC Opera loses control, crashes into boat

At least four people were injured when a cruise liner crashed into a port in the Italian city of Venice on Sunday. The incident has prompted authorities to address the city's lack of infrastructure in catering to large ships. Angela Murphy reports.

Strong current in the lagoon? may be in the canal? a reason to use dead slow ahead to steer the ship with help of one, two, three tug boats astern (as necessary) to control the ship navigation, even in case of main engine failure..
