Just wanted to thank you so much for good info. Yes it's M20 not M25 but not an issue guys. Just change the mix and calculate by the standard value. Civil Engineer rocks.
I think u have to deduct the area of steel from the the gross area of the column.according to ur calculation v=0.27 cu.m is the volume of steel +concrete
Good day Engr, Thank you for the lectures, please how do you come about the factors you are using, like the 1.54 factor you use multiply to the wet concrete volume to convert to dry volume, and 1.26 factor you used for the mortar in plaster material calculations. Is there any video you did regarding to these. Please help me with their title so i can search for the video. Thank you
I am planning to build a small house in an area of 16x40 sqft with steel roof. What Column Size and Material Required do you suggest for a 20 feet high rectangular column. Kindly suggest.
Dear sir please try to avoid sub title on your video because can't see your sketch properly, and you are using M20 ratio for this column not M25. Otherwise your explanation is awesome.
sir u make knowledgeable vedio..but sir i have question volume of cement = ______________ volume of bag . = 0.0756 ________ = 2.17 bags.. 0.0347 sir ye 0.0347 ye value kaha se aai iski jagah 1.25 nahi likh sakte kya plz answer me ... =
1) Bro, are you not taking into consideration the volume occupied by the steel reinforcement ? 2) Why did you multiply the value of Wet volume by 1.5 to get a bigger dry concrete value.? wont shrinkage rather reduce the dry concrete volume? And how did you come by 1.5 and 1.26 values used in concrete and plaster respectively I need your urgent reply Thank you and keep up with the good work.
The volume of the reinforcement is minor, you will see there is no added volume for wastage, nothing is perfect of course, so many variables. There are many videos on you tube explaining wet volume and dry volume

Great video, thank you so much! Your videos are awesome. What great support to the engineering community. Cheers!
In your calculation for the bags of cement, how did you get the divisor o.0347 ? What is its unit? Is it your magic?
this is not M25 this is M20 sir
F&U-FORYOU, are sir aap b inki vedeo dekhte h
F&U-FORYOU whats the difference...then?
Your video is really helpful and it really assist me for any interviews...
Sir M25 Ka ratio 1:1:2 hai
1:1.5:3 A ratio M20 Ka hai
@@rushikirdantrk4887 so the ratio should be 1:1:2 ???because he used M25 right?
Very informative video! Wishing you the best in all your videos from the philippines!
1:1.5:3 ratio for M20 not M25
Correct
I think u have to deduct the area of steel from the the gross area of the column.according to ur calculation v=0.27 cu.m is the volume of steel +concrete
actually u r right...bt it is the basic concrete calculation fr this column...& reinforcement is the minor volume part of the beam
This is so cool very good sir
Wow thank you sir for this beautiful topic

There are many videos on you tube to explain that.
You caculated that, cement in bags and other things like sand and course aggregate in cubic metres,so how can we measured in bags.

I agree with Noor Alam Opinion. You miss the volume of steel bars
What is the difference if wet and dry volume with regards to its volume amount?
Very Useful
how to calculate aggregate in footing???is it the same as the video here???
Q3
If 1 sankrra or trolley is equal to 100cft then how much sand or aggregate we should need in cm3
Please

steel quantity also ?
sir u make knowledgeable vedio..but sir i have question
volume of cement
= ______________
volume of bag .
= 0.0756
________ = 2.17 bags..
0.0347
sir ye 0.0347 ye value kaha se aai
iski jagah 1.25 nahi likh sakte kya plz answer me ...
=
it is volume of one bag of cement
V=mass/density
thank u sir plz BBS of slab, footing, stair case
sir footing ki bi rectangle 120.*1200*250
Thnks sir
0.0756 is volume of cement what is the 0.0349 i am not understand
That is the volume of one 50kg bag of cement.
Peter Crane volume of bag is 50 kg knoe
steel req for this column details not shown , why .
Sir my
question no1
When you multiply the quantity with each other it become 270000
But how you convert it into 0.27 m3
Please
300x300 is in mm mate. 3 which is the height is in meter.
Basically the computation is going to be
0.3m x 0.3m x 3m= 0.27cu.m
sir beam main bi yhi ratio apply hogi kia?
Ha G kar sakty
Asslaamualikum I'm form KSA sir how read structural drawing for shuttring
sir aapane m20ka mixdesign bataya hai aur likha hai m25
thanks :)
0.0347 iz vol. of cement in 1m3
How to convert Sand and aggregate in kg?
Thanks bro. Wror pakhtoon ho na ye??
sir ,
can you send me your written notes please ..
Q2 What is 1.54?
What is 1.54 sir, and It's M20Grade not M25 Grade
M25 ratio 1:1:2
Plz speak in hindi after than any person can easily understand.
You find the volume of m3 only.must be find cft
how to calculate the steel in colum 300mm * 300mm and 3m hight
convert 300 mm to meter it will give u 0.30 meter.
Civil Engineers assalam WA alikum bhai..Good job I like your videos..
kya 1.54 is the wet volume of 1 cu mts of concrete..
yes bro
thanks bro
m20 (1:1.5:3)
M20 value 5.5 how m25 came 5.5
Sir M20 this radio
Sir cement .0756/.0347 how i havenot understood
What is 1.54
Steel calculation for this colum
after 2 days bro

steel calculation
1:1.5:3 m20 ka ratio hota h
Yes
This M20 ratio h bhai
What is 0.0347
0.0347 explain sir
1:1.5:3 is M20
1:1:2 is M25
0.0347 cum is the bag of cement volume
How did you arrive at the volume of cement bag sir? Calculation please.
volume of cement in bag=mss of cement in bag/ density of cement
@@rangasou
35.32 m3 /1.226cft for one bag of cement so 1.226/35.32=0.0347m3
But u included area of steel
Sir it is not M25 it's M20
M20=1:1.5:3 not M25
H i w came 0.0347 value
So mmm so n so then so but so again so before so after so finally so equal to so so
Helow sir aap jo design kiyea galat hai.... aise design hona chshiyea m25-1:1:2
Amarnath Baigsonu yes
Yes
M20 not M25...
How 0.0347 comess
Volume of cement bag=mass/density of cement
M20
M25 mix proportion is wrong
o.o347 I don't understand
sir ratio of m25 is 1:1:2
First of M25 ratio is 1:1:2
Then in column we never use sand only cement and aggregate is used
what 0.0347
rakesh jadhav
Shrinkage factor
That is not M25 you are using M20
Your calculations is wrong
For cement use 1440 his density also use density for sand and aggregate
