That shoot around by UNLV you mentioned is the same way Duke was acting that Sunday between Final Four Saturday and National Championship Monday. They thought beating UNLV was the National Championship even though it was only the Semis. Coach K had to light into them in the middle of that Sunday practice that he had to excuse himself from the practice. Upon returning, the players apologized to him and they had the greatest practice ever. Obviously, you know they won it all the next night.

that unlv team was like mike tyson. you didnt think anyone could beat them because they were that dominant. all it takes is 1 game or 1 boxing match to lose. howevver. if this were nba style, i dont think duke beats unlv 4 games in a 7 game series

Coach K didn't like what he saw that he ripped into them big time and stormed off the court. After cooling off some, Coach K returned and saw a different team. The Players apologized to him and from that moment on they had maybe the best practice in NCAA Basketball History and then beat Kansas for the National Championship the next night.
