Beautiful! I've not been playing all that long, are you sliding on and off the notes to get that lovely kind of swooping sound?

Yes I slide sometimes between notes: upwards when the tune is moving up and the opposite when the notes go downwards..I suppose we often hear it done by singers and it is possible to do something similar on the fiddle! Lovely job ...this is lovely music a pity more trad players don't concentrate a bit more on the melody (in tune and at a nice tempo) like here and use the ornaments as enhancers not as the main menu!
