I feel like what people fail to realize is that these aren't 300 Dollar Micheal Myers masks that can be personally worked on to the last detail, and that for a mass produced mask it's a fairly nice mask and as usual with trick or treat studios they have a great mold for there masks.
This is the same excuse i hear all the time "its a $60 mask what do you expect?" or "its a mass produced mask what do you expect?", well the answer is simple a bit better than this. This is essentially a sheet of moulded latex, it costs pennies to make so $60 is alot for what you are getting. Since when is that an excuse to release a bad product/inferior product. However the main problem which seems to grind many peoples gears is the fact that these Myers masks (kills and 2018) do not look like the stock image used. The paint job is always inferior to the image used and the image thst tots uses to advertise these masks looks like a completely different more higher quality mask. Tots clearly realise this or they would use images of the actual mask sold in stores and not one that has blatantly had a custom paint job done to it. Give people the product you are advertising.
@@ajax201000 if they advertised the mask the right way there wouldn't be problems, i would know because i have that same problem with them. To be honest there's only a few Myers masks from them I'd get without rehauling it, yes there crap for sometimes advertising there masks like the scammers they are but the reason im defending them in terms of money is because i don't have the time to spend 300 dollar's on a custom made Micheal Myers mask from CGP or Night owl, and some other people have that same issue. It's just to much and i don't mind going through the time to take advantage of there well made molds to rehaul it which can come out cheaper then some custom made masks and not look that far from one of those.
The fact that a custom job can cost hundred of dollars does not justify tots actions. They could put a bit more care in and charge a little more or just sell the masks unpainted and save us all a job of having to get rid of their terrible paint job. i expect more for $60 when i buy a sheet of latex. Most of us dont want to buy a mask that turns into an art project. Tots could be charging $1 per mask but that is still irrelevant because the mask they advertise is not the mask you get, that is the issue.

That mask looks great. I purchased a Halloween kills mask I ordered from the Walmart website and it is a trick or treat studios brand. I’m getting it shipped soon. I had got a Halloween kills mask that was super cheap off eBay and it wasn’t tot studios brand. When I got it didn’t even look Michael Myers and the burned side didn’t look like what you see in the picture. Plus some of the hair was coming off and one part of the hairline was partially ripped. I’m gonna return that to the seller I got it from. I’m hoping the one I ordered on the Walmart website will be better.

Great review man! Apparently it's been confirmed that "Halloween Ends" will take place 2-3 years later in the timeline, so him getting a new mask in "Ends", is a very real possibility.

I’m surprised that the mask in the new film isn’t actually melted latex with it drooping down. And the yellow tones I think is what a white latex mask would end up doing from heat. Outside of that, not a bad job.

Has ANYONE seen 2 of these things painted the same ? yours doesnt look like a jar of mustard was smashed on the side of the knoggin. less blood too on yours. They are doin a "4 drop " thing on the knitting needle mark. Good mold though as you said. If i was to pick one up , i,d be all day painting ,doin the tighten up , to be sure . why are most TOTS M.M. masks so shiny ?. good review
Hey thank you very much and honestly no I don’t think two masks are alike I don’t know if they have a lot of different painters of it it’s just a few and they have good days and bad days but it’s definitely all over the place and I agree I don’t have so much yellow on mine but I didn’t notice that I was lacking in blood on the neck good eye it is a great mold very serviceable and I truly don’t like the shinny masks I am very glad my kills mask is not a shinny one
Has yours had a real issue with shedding on the unburned side? I’m gonna have to get a new one, since mines shedding like a golden retriever in the summer.

Um it kinda depends on what you want the 2018 mask or the Kills mask I think both are great but it always depends on what you want it for are you gonna wear it or just display it ?

I don’t know the actual size but I have a little over a 23 inch head and this fits me perfect a smaller head should still be ok to a point and any bigger and it might be too tight

Right I think what they did looks good I just don’t think it’s very realistic to what latex would do in a fire

I filled out by my mask and got rid of the dents by putting it on a mannequin head and it looks awesome 👌
I have always wanted to give it a try but I am not having much luck with getting a mannequin yet

The damage gives it that movie feel. A regular mask lacks the movie lighting that adds to it, the damage compensates!
