Remembered my trip with 3 friends in Gypsy in 92 from Thane to Kolhapur. Stopped at Petnaka,Kolhapur for dinner and halted at Kirloskar Pump for night. Mumbai to Kolhapur was aprox 450 km and Kolhapur to Bangalore was another 450 kms. From Bangalore to Coimbatore via Tumkur, Mettur . From Coimbatore to Ooty. Return to Tirupati and from there to Thane. Petrol was costing Rs.9.60 per litre. Not a Single Puncture in the entire trip. Just had to replace rear wheel bearings. Fantastic Memories.
Once road will connect to Channai by pass than you can do one more trip. I am waiting for that road, It will take 6 more months. Blr>Kholapur>Mumbai>Delhi>Ayodhya>Bettiah
We used to cover Bangalore to Mumbai (Tilak Nagar Near Chembur) 1024 Kms in 16.5 to 17 Hours every time we visited Mumbai at least 9 to 10 times [Eartiga] With Family
Overloading is one of the major causes behind road accidents. As per the NHAI, it is mandatory to install such machines at toll plazas to check overloading by vehicles. Toll plazas can charge 10 times the toll from overloaded vehicles.
Planning for Pune to Bangalore. Is it really that bad condition to cover the distance in a day? Should I take Solapur-Vijaypura-Hubli route which Google is recommending?
Hi, nice video.. don't expect good roads even after paying high toll charges. I have traveled till Ladakh, NE, everywhere from Bangalore. worst govt and worst roads. Everywhere work is going on n on... looting money.
