So i ask my mom for a bible today after years,,I just opened it and read a few words and i started tearing up immediately ,,cant explain the feelings i have been going through lately ,,Confusion,anger,Hate, and a bunch if other feelings ,,And it doesnt go away ,,been feeling like this for a month now and its getting stronger ,,Is this what it feels like when God starts working inside you?Like a pull or something ? it does not feel malicious its welcoming ?Like i said i dont understand whats going on.
God is calling you. He wants a relationship with you❤ I had the same thing happen to me 10 years ago.. I felt God was telling me I was in the wrong place with wrong people. I started to pray He would show me where I belong and i desided to go all in and see where he's taking me. I have never regretted! I can say it's totally worth it! Just do what you feel he is showing you to do or put away and keep seeking Him. It's not always easy but what you will gain in the relationship with Jesus is way more than you can plan for yourself. There's no love like He is.. There's no one else who could fill the voids in our hearts we try to seek filling to. He is willing to make us whole and free🙏🏻❤️ God bless you, I will pray for you🙏🏻

omg the whole daddy issues thing is so disrespectful. All people come with issues and many are codependant regardless of father issues. I come from a "daddy issues" background and have met many men who want me to save them not the other way around.

We are becoming a society where the women can no longer depend on men, and we end up having to be more men than the men when it comes to any responsibility. There is one man who we can always depend on, Jesus is our redeemer.
I don’t think it is disrespectful but rather an observation. We as people seek love and acceptance and for most women instead of seeking God they seek men. It wasn’t referring to ALL women, and it was in context to his situation. I also agree with your point of men who seek women for the same love and acceptance. So both points are correct, and it isn’t disrespectful but rather observational, especially when it pertains to his situation.
And this is coming from a women who also has “Daddy issues”, same as you. One is not better than the other but they are both equally in pain in search of a fixing and love only God can give.
@LBB511 Yes, exactly. It's also indicative of how screwed up we are now as a society. Our young seek things in life that they are not remotely ready for and then suffer because of it. Instead of stepping back and taking time to examine it and themselves, they plunge ahead into more misery, never looking at their choices or taking responsibility for themselves. Parents behave like it's fine or that they had no place in it, because they didn't have good parents to show them that a parent is not a friend to their children.
Add to that, most American households make no place for God. I grew up during the Cold War, and one of the biggest criticisms of the Soviet Union was that they outlawed religion, and they tried, but the people kept it live and well underground. Sadl, it's we Americans that lost our religions, and it's odd, but it's supposed to be the reason our country was founded in the first place. That also strongly shows just how far we have fallen as a society. When someone does the right thing now, what used to be common place, we video it and post it because it has become so strange. Sad that.
