Nah, I really think this show deserves PG rating from season 3 and after. Maybe better "G" rating than "Y7" for season 1 and 2 but they're the minority. In general I think It's an hilarious show for kids of 11/12 years old and up although the episodes "The Slap", "The Awkwardness" and "The Hug" the last two featuring the Hot Dog Guy are too sus and they should have avoided them it's crazy they still got "Y7" rating

Given the show does call back to previous events, it would've been fun to have an episode where Darwin is framed and Gumball doesn't bother helping him since he didn't believe his innocence in the Triangle. Other fun ideas would be an episode where everyone in Elmore go on a typical adventure for the Watersons EXCEPT the Watersons themselves who are simply having a mundane day, possibly ending with everyone asking the family how do they live the way they do. Also imagine the opening sequence from the Extras (A musical number where the background characters surround Gumball and Darwin) except they also surrounded any character who got focus in an episode along with the rest of the Watersons.
