Oh, sweet girl....😢 this breaks my heart... your story is so relatable to me. My father attempted suicide when I was 9 years old. He was in a coma for 4 months.. I had my daughter when I was 17 and homeless. I struggled so much with anger and I became that angry, cold mother. This hurts even more than being the child in my experience. My heart breaks for you, Jess and I am so thankful that God has been with you and has carried you through all of this.

I lost touch with my late Mother. Miraculously I found her, in England. She had Dementia/Alzheimer so probably had no idea I was there. I am grateful, so grateful for that last chance to see her, and find my brother, sister, plus another sister I had never known. One sister and my brother have passed away from Cancer. After all the things that happened as a child, I am so deeply thankful my Mother became a Christian.
I appreciate your openness. God has also fixed my relationship with my mother in a very evident way. She gave her life to Jesus, started reading the Bible and became a devoted Chrisrian. Just like you I also had to forgive myself a lot. Must say I owe your husband's ministry a lot. I have been listening to all of his teachings for a couple of years. I will probably never go to America but thanks to internet his ministry reaches here in Europe. Be blessed. Thank you for every support you give your husband.

There was a lot of shame I felt in my old life before giving my life to Jesus, and forgiving yourself can be one of the hardest parts/biggest weapons the enemy uses to condemn us. But it's a lie! This is amazing! I had thought a few days ago how I've never seen Davids's wife and it would be nice to see her and hear her. Listening to this testimony I am thinking of speaking to my stepfather to get counselling for his drinking habit. He has had this lifestyle since I was a child and for years it appears no change is happening. May this be the answer to the start of his problem.
