Would you recommend the same measurements for a mk1 standard sail?

Same measurements.. It's all reference points- but I originally used this method when working with mk1 sails. Best of luck!

Can you mark for 4.7 sail?

I've never used the system on a 4.7 sail as the length of foot is drastically less. However it doesn't mean it's not a useful way of making some marks and being consistent every time you change boats or get a new sail.
