You're my new favorite discovery! So nice vibes always and a great recipe, these biscuits seem delicious! Keep showing us Swedish/Nordic pastries they are awesome!
Have been looking for a recipe for these since the Danish Baker in Toronto, Ontario, Canada that my parents had gone to 4/60 years, no longer carried them. I am hoping to add these to our celebration for first Sunday in advent, which we are actually celebrating on second Sunday, because all the kids couldn’t make it. Thank you so much, the recipe looks very easy to follow. To The people asking about freezing these - we would always freeze them when we got them from the baker, sometimes for months, and they would be perfect when we took them out
Can NOT tell you how excited I am for this recipe!? I'd (long since) given up on finding an English Language recipe for Biskvier... Hell, I'd've fumbled my way through a Swedish recipe if I could have found one? But never had any luck. Soon as I'm through my current MDE - Top of my list to bake! Thank you, Cecilia!! 💕
Yay! I’m excited that you’re excited! I love Swedish content creators but it can be hard to find good English language recipes of Swedish food, it was a big part of why I started this channel. Let me know how the recipe works out for you 😊😊
Just found your channel, and I'm so excited! I am part Swedish and Norwegian, and I am convinced that Scandinavians have the best desserts. I can't wait to try your recipes to share with family. Love your presentation style and editing. Great work!
Thank you for your videos and fun to follow quality recipes! - I'm just as frustrated as anyone when it comes to tempered chocolate - any video you are be able to make sure would be helpful! - Oh, and as someone without a microwave oven, the links for chocolate tempering don't work too well. - These Chokladbiskvier are delightful, and the BISKVI name makes me think of french where biscuit literaly means cooked twice (bis=twice, cuit=bakad).
My uncle visited my other uncle in my grandmothers garage when he was working on his car. He could see the uncle working on the car also chewing on something so asked what it was. The other uncle pulled a previously frozen but now thawed chockladbiskvie out of his pocket and asked him if also wanted one. It turns out my grandmother kept the chockladbiskbvier in the freezer and he used to grab a few and keep them in his pocket while doing chores. With the result of a pretty messy pocket. By that said. Chockladbiskvier is good to chew at while they are frozen but do it carefully.
your videos and recipes make me want to go to Sweden so bad and try all these desserts!! 😋this one looks like something i can make, thanks for the recipe! 💙💛
I absolutely love that I found you thru this video. I was craving these cookies! Thank you, so easy to make!! ❤

After baking the cookies could you use a glass/cookie cutter swirled around them to round out the edges?
I never thought of that! I’ve done that for like chocolate chip cookies but I should try it for these!
I read that they can be frozen, but preferably uncovered with chocolate. Would that be something the bakeries do?
Yes! These were always my favorite as a kid, along with “vacuum cleaners” (dammsugare). Can’t wait to try this recipe.
How about the "fuse" Swedish "prop"
Those are beautiful!
Thanks Bette!
Just in time for mother's day
Grounded almonds works as well right? Looks delicious, I’m making your blueberry muffin recipe in two days 😊
Those should work but make sure they aren’t ground too coarsely 😊

Do eggs whites need to be room temp?
No, I think fridge cold would be just fine.
these look really good, but my wife is allergic to nuts. I was thinking about possibly trying it with a shortbread base
I think that would work!
Ch butter mam please?
Por favor pon subtitulos en español, gracias.
