You've got an amazing Donnie Yen collection. I have most of the modern Donnie films & love them all. He's an an incredible figther & i an't wait for John Wick 4. It's going to be awesome. Thanks George.👍
Fantastic collection you have. I get the feeling that even though Donnie Yen is prolific yet he appears to be underrated & shat on from quite a few HK movie fans mainly on the t’internet more so than any other kung fu action star. You’re probably the only person that I’ve watched who enjoyed Ballistic Kiss & I remember that movie being hated on & ridiculed back in the 00s. I remember buying some HK DVDs off someone, and they threw in that film for free without me knowing. I still have it on top of my wardrobe & I think only watched once. It’s only Cine Asia that seems to give that bit of Donnie Yen love. In all honesty, do we really need Van Damme boutique releases of already released blu ray movies? Considering there are HK action stars such as Donnie Yen who have a whole host of movies, that are in desperate need of a boutique special edition release. I thoroughly enjoyed Enter the Fat Dragon and I am shocked that it’s not been released on Blu-ray.
Thanks!! And yes, he sure is :) Ballistic Kiss (and Legend Of The Wolf) would both look amazing on Blu and deserve more love. Fingers crossed one of the labels starts dishing more Yen out soon!!
Amazing collection! I double dipped on a lot of the Cineasia releases ensuring I had them on blu ray too. I've got a bone to pick with you though... I see you never mentioned or showed a copy of Donnie Yen's best and most celebrated Hollywood movie - Highlander: Engame!!?? Shame on you for missing out this never to be forgotten masterpiece! 😆😜😉
@@invincibleasiaofficial I'm not gonna lie.. I thought about trying to score a copy to satisfy the "collector" in me.. I just couldn't bring myself to do it!
Okay... I'm actually rather surprised how few Blu-Ray's you actually have.. spectially with all the Cine-Asia ones having blu-ray rels too and are quite easy and cheap to find (well except S.P.L./Kill Zone). "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny" and "Saint of Gamblers (Cameo)" do have HK bluray rels too :) Donnie was my first real experience with HK movies (not being Bruce Lee) back in the day and have been my favorite ever since.. way more then even Jackie and yes! i'm VERY high on 88 starting to focus more on his movies now that there's not many Chan movies left to dip into (doubt they'll do every single one on 4k too)
Yeah, I still have a lot of Blu's to catch up on! No rush while I have the DVDs and there's just not enough of Donnie's titles coming out fast enough :)
