Actual tears for Henry sticking up to Wally. I screamed 'no!' Last episode with the cancer diagnosis. Wally reminds me of my dad and his temper (he was actually too angry to join the marine corps).
My dad was a Marine Nam vet. Most loving father i could ask for, but he would snap on an SOB like nothing else. Forearms like Popeye but never lifted a weight in a gym. Just worked in cargo throwing boxes for years. I can understand the father somewhat in these stories. War just does something to a man. It did it to me too. It did it to my grandfather before my father. Unfortunately, I was the only generation to somewhat get the help we needed. Demons everyone. Demons change a man.
Holy shit! These stories just keep getting better and fucking better! Every series you do is like nobody else! That's why I listen to your stories every night. A Grown fuckin man at 38 years old! Still, every night when I take our dog for a walk at 11:00 I listen to these stories. And every day I look forward to another. God bless bro! God bless.
I enjoyed this a lot. I don't normally like haunting type stories because it's common for writers to fall back on tropes and make it predictable. This story though... I can't wait to hear the next part.

Damn cliffhangers😂 Man I can't wait for the rest of this story I've been sensing something coming ever since I started listening to tales from Uncle Henry's farm . But as always the best parts come after a cliffhanger hope I don't have to hang on too long LOL .
I'm loving this installment so far. If anyone is interested in a story that has a lot of simular themes to this (generational trauma and the supernatural, and what it means to be or not be a man) i cant reccomend enough "Sing, Unburied, Sing" by Jesmyn Ward
Spoiler? Soooooooo.... Henry, in his infinite "wisdom", decided that MC being raised by a mentally unstable, alcoholic, abusive, violent, murderer was better than having no father at all?? Because apparently Henry, himself, couldn't step up... I can't wrap my mind around that logic
I really love the story and think it’s very well written however I have to admit I keep getting hung up on the ages. Main character was 6 years old in 1981. His father was in the Second World War so let’s say he was drafted into the army in 1942, and being generous he was 18 at the time though I think he may have been older like 22-24? So that’d put Dad at maybe born in 1924, so he would have been btwn 51-55 years old when he had his son? Kinda unlikely is all. Is Henry older than his Dad? He must be 100+++ if it’s current times, which seems to be the case. So, I would fix this plot hole problem either putting Dad in the Vietnam war instead. Or…have son being born 20 years previous like 1955 or something and having the “current times” of the story in the mid 1990’s. Great story just some plot holes that could use tweaking. No disrespect meant, really love the story! Can’t wait for the next installment.
I hate these "tales" series. I've found myself having to listen to the OG videos. I love Mr.CreepyPasta and respect his work, but this new era feels hollow.

The "current" time of the story was actually 12-14 years ago, when the early versions of the first two stories were written
