I was hoping to start carrying one of yours to replace my current "folding knife in the front pocket" situation. I wanted to carry a fixed blade IWB or via necklace and I think your knives seem to be the best fixed blades. I was super bummed to find out that the two carry styles I wanted are illegal in my state for fixed blades.

I wish you offered the nighthawk in a 3 inch blade or 2.75. The 3 inch is legal in most states and countries for travel 6:32

I’ve changed my mind, I’ve been wishy washy between the Nightstalker CG and this Nighthawk. At first I was going to order the Nightstalker CG but there’s something about a beautifully made tanto that just gets me every time. And after watching this I think my choice is clear.
Also, I was wondering about some of the designs on the blades on your website and was wondering about that topo design that kind of looks like Damascus, do you do that for an extra charge because I think it’d be awesome since I have some topo wrap on my adventure van. Regardless I think I’ll be ordering a Nighthawk very, VERY soon! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
The Hawk is VERY popular, and designed (IMO) to function as a tanto should be...point driven work
I do offer the topo engraving, just add engraving to your cart and put topo in the notes.

Hey Tim, Can you maybe do a demo/ destruction test how the Nighthawk would perform with tasks like battoning, feathersticking and making a point to a stick.
I know that this blade is for self-defense and EDC but i would want to see how it would do in something like a survival situation. By the way, the my combatant is great man.

Yeah I think we can definitely do that. I made one on the Hawk a month ago but didn’t know if it would make a good full length video.

Bro, can you make the striker with the ring? I really love the shape of the striker’s blade.
Make a g10 ring that turns it into the Nightstalker grip. Called the Sentry grip.
Finally pulled the trigger on ordering a knife for my wife and myself and I can't wait to put them to work.
That blade is looks great too, might have to convince her I "need" another in a couple months or so....

how good is this for outdoor tasks? I know it is limited since it is tanto, but I am sold on it. However, I need an idea of how good it is for outdoor tasks and basic utility. Examples include opening assorted packaging, limited woodworking, dressing game, etc. Any details would be appreciated. I need a knife that lives on my plate carrier and chest rig. Beautiful blades!!! I really love the ring.
It’s a robust blade designed to withstand heavy point driven work so it has the strength to preform well in the hard use environments that you describe. Nearly any blade shape will preform those task. The shape of the blade is mostly personal preference. Many people use a tanto for every cutting task that they encounter without any issues. Tim, is this made in 80crv2 carbon steel?
Everything is now 80CRV2. There are some blades that I made for contracts made from some other steels that will be coming out for the public soon but they will specify the steel used.

I've been searching for a EDC tanto for awhile. Had my eye on your design since I saw the sneak preview back in May/June. I love the aesthetics now. On the verge of ordering one, but wondering if you can sharpen the back of the blade.
I could but it’s a thick steel and would be really steep.
