We just finished our trip to Iceland with a 22 month old and a 6 year old. We love Iceland. We've been there 4 times. Last year we traveled there with a 10 month old and a 4 year old. It was so much fun.
Our dream is to move there!
I have to add to this though if you don't mind. If you are visiting Iceland the carseats rules don't apply to you.
You can alway bring your carseat. They don't expect to to rent one.
We rented one for our 5 year old and brought our own carseat for our baby! 😉

This is great, thank you for making this! We've traveled all over Iceland and Europe, as well as back to the U.S., with our two kids (ages five and one, both born here in Iceland) and these suggestions are all really on-point and helpful.
I would also add that both Iceland and the U.S. provide an exemption from liquid restrictions for baby formula and baby food when traveling by air. Be sure to allow for some additional time for screening, but it should be no problem to carry it.

Hi there! Babies will need particular consideration when planning your trip... how to get around (stroller, carrier, backpack?), where and when will she nap, how will you handle the jet lag/time difference, etc. But, the great thing about travelling with babies is that they don't usually get bored! Happy planning!

Small kids don't need tablets and smartphones . Toys ,colouring books and parents talking / singing to them will be just fine .
