41:34 that’s what Miquella’s great rune is for. If you use it in between the first time and that second time it gets rid of the thing on your head and you don’t die on the second grab. Anyways, loved this series though! Can’t wait for a bloodfiend’s arm cheese playthrough 😉
Just to put into perspective how you dodge most of the gank fight: Leda and Dane are the only NPCs that will always show up no matter what. But she can have: -Hornsent, the dual scimitar dude. He does bleed. -Moore, the gentle merchant. He has a giant greatshield and rot pots. -Freyja, the Redmane gladiator. She only shows up if you have Ansbach summoned (you didn't finish his quest so you got random Sanguine noble Nataan) and if you gave her the letter. So the worst the fight can get is 6 NPC gank fight, all of them with a flask on top of bloated HP values and input reading. As for Rahahn lore: Ansbach quest leads to finding out that Miquella asked for Mohg's body to be sent to him and if you helped Freyja during it, she would reveal that Radahn is going to be revived because Redmanes are the kind to believe in eternal fighting. In short, Miquella revived Radahn because he believe the gravity bro would be the best consort to him as a god using Mohg's body, why Consort Radahn is able to use bloodflame on top of gravity magic and holy magic from Miquella.
I laughed so much watching this. I killed Radahn in my NG+3 today after maybe 100 tries and it was so much fun watching you suffer. It's impressive how fast you learn btw, gj. love you videos.

Lore spoilers to answer your questions re: Radahn: . . . . . . . so basically the lore here is that Miquella stole Mohg's body after you killed him so that Radahn's soul could be placed in it. This is technically Radahn's spirit inside Mohg's corpse. Which is why he can do that bloodflame attack and why he's a lot shorter than Starscourge Radahn was. One of the NPCs you could meet, Ansbach, was formerly one of Mohg's Pureblood Knights and his quest revolved around him learning what they did with Mohg's body. You get to see how upset this makes him and he would have been summonable at the gank fight against Leda and the final boss fight against Radahn.

The riposte spawn’s definitely a bug, but somehow Radhan standing all the way there is funny for some reason. But bug or no, most bosses have a reliable phase two opening, and Radhan doing whatever he wants at the start of phase 2 is a veritable dick move. You’re a chad for smacking him into submission with a giant centerpiece, and this vid was a welcome energy shot on my coffee break. ⚡️
