I don’t think many people and especially the non fans really understand what NCT have been through. While many people love to discredit NCT’s success because of their concept and the huge number of members they have, actually their very concept was and still is what made it difficult for them. I’m telling you that before nct statted selling million copies of their albums people were mocking and insulting their concept, clowning it and all, like no one actually believed it would work out. But now NCT started achieving success and suddenly it is all because of the fact that they have 23 members? No. They are where they are today because they worked their asses off and never stopped. When they were ridiculed for their concept and repeatedly mocked at for being “flops’, they continued working their asses off putting out music that is unique to them all while withstanding the pressure coming from the expectations of a big group from a big company. The reason why the concept was able to become a success is because they worked painstakingly hard for 4 years to build a stable fanbase of their own. It is because every unit of NCT is talented and strong enough to also establish a strong fanbase such that when they come together, their power is multipled. In other words they worked their asses off for their concept to become a success. I will not say anything else but these guys are fucking hardworking and deserve EVERY bit of success they get and more.

The part that really got me the most was Johnny arriving from Chicago. A boy 18 years (my age) just completed high school, flying off to another country half a hemisphere away from his home, his family. Leaving his best friends, his parents behind, embarking on an uncertain journey its just so inspirational. I am 18 and I know how much internal conflict between ones own emotions one has to handle, slowly getting used to being an adult, being extremely confused and there is so much pressure from the society to yk be successful. Handling all of that Johnny survived through training which is incredibly hard. It must've been hard for him to adjust to a completely new culture from what America was, and I am imagining him leaving his precious room for one last time, before coming to Korea, seeing off the places he used to play/hang around while going to chase his dreams. I don’t think many people and especially the non fans really understand what NCT have been through. While many people love to discredit NCT’s success because of their concept and the huge number of members they have, actually their very concept was and still is what made it difficult for them. I’m telling you that before nct statted selling million copies of their albums people were mocking and insulting their concept, clowning it and all, like no one actually believed it would work out. But now NCT started achieving success and suddenly it is all because of the fact that they have 23 members? No. They are where they are today because they worked their asses off and never stopped. When they were ridiculed for their concept and repeatedly mocked at for being “flops’, they continued working their asses off putting out music that is unique to them all while withstanding the pressure coming from the expectations of a big group from a big company. The reason why the concept was able to become a success is because they worked painstakingly hard for 4 years to build a stable fanbase of their own. It is because every unit of NCT is talented and strong enough to also establish a strong fanbase such that when they come together, their power is multipled. In other words they worked their asses off for their concept to become a success. I will not say anything else but these guys are fucking hardworking and deserve EVERY bit of success they get and more.

The part that really got me the most was Johnny arriving from Chicago. A boy 18 years (my age) just completed high school, flying off to another country half a hemisphere away from his home, his family. Leaving his best friends, his parents behind, embarking on an uncertain journey its just so inspirational. I am 18 and I know how much internal conflict between ones own emotions one has to handle, slowly getting used to being an adult, being extremely confused and there is so much pressure from the society to yk be successful. Handling all of that Johnny survived through training which is incredibly hard. It must've been hard for him to adjust to a completely new culture from what America was, and I am imagining him leaving his precious room for one last time, before coming to Korea, seeing off the places he used to play/hang around while going to chase his dreams. Johnny we are proud of you we love you 3000
