Lovely creatures, and awesome set ups! I'm more a snake person, but I've been wanting a blue tongue skink for years now. I think I'll be getting one finally this spring. Love seeing what people do with their habitats.
Great Video!!! I was really surprised to see the milk frog. I recently started researching them and looking into get 1 or 2 for some smaller terrariums I want to display. I didn't know anything about them until a few months ago so it was cool seeing yours in the vid. I like the minimalist approach to your set ups; visually appealing, easy to clean and still providing and great environment for the species. I look forward to watching more of your vids. Thanks for sharing. BTW, are those ceramic tiles you're using for the backsplash in your BTS enclosures? Looks very nice.
Gypsy Noire thanks so much! My adult milk frog is now in a living vivarium, so a little more complicated but doing great. They are really cool tree frogs! The tiles in the skinks' enclosure are vinyl and are siliconed to the back.
Oh cool thank you. I'm going to be setting up a skink enclosure and thought about building a back with styrofoam, but to be honest it's way more work than I want to get into. I originally bought a 4x2x2 melamine enclosure then found out after the fact that it wasn't a good choice because of the humidity needed, so I'm going to set up a 50g breeder I have instead. I'm going to give your tile idea a go, it looks really nice and doesn't take away from the inside space like the foam would. You should do a vid on your milk frog set up, I'd love to see it. In my research I read on more than a few care sheets that they can be kept over water instead of substate, have you ever tried that?
Gypsy Noire yeah, the tile is a lot easier than a the styrofoam way. You certainly could keep the frogs with a water bottom. I just chose not to do it.
I got the tanks used for $300. I did some face lifting and made them how they currently look. Definitely look on local reptile Facebook groups or Craigslist for some good deals!
Wow you have made their enviroment perfect and not with expensive material! That creativity shows the true love for animals, bravo!

Amazing enclosure what is the brand of the two skink enclosures I need to get me one of those
Would love a blue tongue skink video. There aren't a whole lot of videos out there about them
+Derpy Reptiles I'll try to do one in a few weeks, just really busy with school right now. Haha
Great video! I want a blue tongue asking so badly! Did you buy yours from a breeder or a local reptile store?
Thanks! I got Bane and Nyssa from LLLReptile and Merlyn from a reptile show. I knew who the breeders were, they just sold the skinks to LLL to sell.
Cool! Thank you for telling me!
Nice! have you ever though about switching to living vivariums instead of fake plants?
Yeah, really the only thing I could do vivariums for are the gargoyles. The skinks would rip them to shreds. Lol
the second types of frogs that you showed did you name them after the Walking Dead kids
thanks for subscribing!
Ya ya ya, everyone doing the fish
Does your room ever smell ? If so what do you use to take away the smell ?
Very rarely. The roach colony can build up if I get behind on cleaning. Other than that, everything smells fairly neutral.
Where did you get the skink stackable enclosures
I got them from a guy through a local reptile Facebook group.
+Herps101 Oh thanks and thank you for the fast response. Do you remember what the guys name was
+Dylan Mason Tyler Staplers.
how much was the two stackable cages that were for the skinks
They were $300 for both.
IG that's not bad
+Herps101 where did you buy those.
How much all up do you think the skinks tank costs? I'm thinking of upgrading mine.
I got the tanks used for $300. I did some face lifting and made them how they currently look. Definitely look on local reptile Facebook groups or Craigslist for some good deals!
Okay thanks
+Herps101 are these tanks home made?
+Mekhanic1 No, I got them used.
where did u buy the blue tongue tank?
I got them used from a guy. They were previously used for hamsters. Lol
Herps101 really, they look like proper reptile terrariums
Where did you get your tubs? They look like they sit very well on their sides and I've been looking for some just like them for gargoyles as well.
I got them at Target.
+Herps101 sweet, thanks. I'll check it out.
what types of frogs are Carl and Sophie??
+Amanda Fagg They're Amazon milk frogs.
what kind of cages are your skinks cages?
+Megh- charmeghander I got them used off a local Facebook group. I have no idea who originally made them.
where do you get your supplies/reptiles?
+Derp _ I get supplies from LLLReptile and Pangea. The animals came from different breeders or stores.
