Roman Catholic dogmas constitute the essential and authoritative beliefs of the Catholic Church, forming the bedrock of its theology and spiritual practice. These dogmas, which include doctrines such as the Trinity, the Incarnation of Christ, the Immaculate Conception, and the Assumption of Mary, are considered divinely revealed truths, immutable and universally binding for all Catholics, but their teachings are not backed my scripture.
They are derived from a combination of sacred scripture, apostolic tradition, and the magisterium, or teaching authority of the Church. Through ecumenical councils and papal declarations, these dogmas have been articulated and clarified over centuries, ensuring their consistency with the core tenets of the faith. Understanding and adhering to these dogmas is seen as vital for maintaining the integrity of Catholic doctrine and fostering a deep, communal connection to the divine mysteries they represent. The Vatican continues to play a pivotal role in elucidating and defending these dogmas, ensuring that they remain relevant and comprehensible to the faithful in an ever-changing world...good luck with that.

If God is fully present in Jesus, than Mary is the Mother of God. God is not a partial being. For this reason, a Nestorian cannot be a Trinitarian.

You think you're smart just leaving a biblical reference.
What's the point you're trying to make anyway?
That there is a correlation between Bath-sheba and your Roman Catholic/Orthodox Mary? I hope not. Because this passage destroys your "Mary as mankind's intercessor sitting at the right hand of Jesus."
Just as Mary is seated at Jesus' right hand, according to your Roman Catholic teachings, so was Bathsheba seated at Solomon's right hand. Is this the point you're trying to make? Let's check it out.
Here is a quick quote, "The RC dogma of the Assumption teaches that at the end of her time on earth, Mary was taken up-body and soul-into heaven. There, she sits at her Son’s right hand, as Queen of Heaven and Earth."
1 Kings 2:19 (KJV) Bath-sheba therefore went unto king Solomon, to speak unto him for Adonijah. And the king rose up to meet her, and bowed himself unto her, and sat down on his throne, and caused a seat to be set for the king's mother; and she sat on his right hand.
Just like the Roman Catholic Mary is seated at the right hand of Jesus, so is Bathsheba, Solomon 's mother seated at Solomon's right hand.
As a side note: Only the Roman Catholic Jesus would bow himself down as Solomon did to his mother. The 2nd person of the Godhead does not bow before his creation, namely Mary.
You stopped the reading at verse 19. Keep reading.
Just as Mary intercedes for mankind, your example Bathsheba does the same to Solomon.
1 Kings 2:20 (KJV) Then she said, I desire one small petition of thee; I pray thee, say me not nay. And the king said unto her, Ask on, my mother: for I will not say thee nay.
This is a beautiful picture of a mother interceding on someone's behalf.
Bathsheba's intercession for Adonijah gets Solomon, who according to you, represents Jesus Christ, super angry.
1 Kings 2:23 (KJV) Then king Solomon sware by the LORD, saying, God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah have not spoken this word against his own life.
This anger instigated by Bathsheba's intercession gets Adonijah killed contrary to Adonijah's request.
1 Kings 2:25 (KJV) And king Solomon sent by the hand of Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he fell upon him that he died.
Conclusion: If Mary intercedes for anyone, Jesus would kill him.
This last statement I just made, is made in the same line of logic and reasoning as the Roman Catholic/Orthodox belief.
God through Paul said, "2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
There is no correlation between Bathsheba and Mary.
If there is, don't go to Mary to intercede for you. It could get you killed. As per the passage frankkienle8926 supplied.

@@FoundationalBibleTeachings What happens to Adonijah is irrelevant. Was the sentence of the rightful king a just judgment? These texts clearly show an old testament correlation between the king and his mother. This is the teaching of how the Church sees Mary and her relationship to Christ. From giving the queen mother her due honor, to her place at the kings right hand. To listening to her requests directly on behalf of others. Everything that the Church is accused of as getting it wrong, is found plainly in Scripture. The commandment to honer thy father and mother applies even to our Lord. Can our Lord disregard the very commandments He’s the Author of? Why should we think we can, if He would not do it Himself?

@@FoundationalBibleTeachings Bathsheba’s intercession didn’t condemn Adonijah. He did that himself when he assumed the kingship and paraded himself around Jerusalem as such. So no, sorry, wrong interpretation.
What now, quoting actual verses from Scripture is, tantamount to teaching “Catholic false doctrine”? Aren’t biblical references the only authoritative Word you’ll accept? I guess if it fits your reading of Scripture its ok. But when it doesn’t fit your interpretation, it’s obviously heretical?
The assumption of Mary. Is the idea that God assumes people unbiblical? What about Enoch and Elijah? Were they not “caught up” according to Scripture? Where were they “caught up to”? Were they sinless? Was Mary the only person that the Church teaches was free from original sin? What about the man and the woman from Genesis? Weren’t they created without sin? So God can create man in His Image sinless but when it comes to Mary, thats a bridge too far I guess?

@@frankkienle8926 Don't you see that as a little blasphemous? last time I checked there can only be one person at the right hand of a king , in mark 16:19 Jesus rose up to heaven and sat at the right hand of god (I'm not talking about the same right hand as in mat 25:34) . For you to imply that Mary sits there and that she is replacing Jesus (you know , the god who died for our sins) is lowkey blasphemy. Even when Jesus will rule on earth during the 1000 years (which idk if Catholics believe that even tho its there in scripture) he had promised that right hand position to David and no one else. psalm 122:1-4 , rev 12:5 , matt 25: 13, 31-32 , rev 19:4-6. Mary wasn't promised to sit at the right hand of Jesus not in scripture at least, for the amount of verses about Jesus sitting at the right hand of god , I fail to see any that say the same for Mary.

@@coolbean2457 Where do you get that I’m implying Mary replaces Jesus at the right hand of God? If you read 1 Kings chapter 1 in light of the verses I already quoted in chapter 2, you will see a clear distinction between the wife of the king, and the mother of the king. A woman’s word does not carry any weight in Jewish tradition. Note that Nathan the prophet says he will back up Bathsheba when she pleads the case of her son Solomon before king David in chapter 1. But in chapter 2, Adonijah doesn’t plead his case directly to the king, he places his wish in the hands of the kings mother to intercede on his behalf. Whereas Bathsheba bows in obeisance to king David as wife of the king in chapter 1, Solomon does his mother homage when she approaches Solomon as he sits on the throne as the new king in chapter 2. And before we get into a discussion about worship, please understand that honoring or venerating isn’t worship. Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords. Their is a hierarchy to the kingdom of God. As Catholics we simply see this hierarchy being fulfilled in light of the scripture verses I already cited. There is no contradiction. Jesus is in the line of David, a Kingship which will have no end. Our Lord has no wife, hence his mother sits at His Right Hand, typologically speaking, as Bathsheba sat at the right hand of Solomon.
