I realized as I was editing what the jar meant. Its their "happy sugar life world" and trying to hold onto it which is why it breaks at the end when it comes to a close
It can also represent hearts or souls if im correct since shio talks about peoples jars breaking, i see it happens when they are mentally not okay, or mentally breaking
I would love it if you reacted to this! While not exactly spot on you we’re picking up on the symbolism of it quite well. Not going to spoil but there’s not so much a magical thing going on as much as the show uses fantastic dreamlike imagery to show the characters’ feelings. Despite the sugary title, this is in my top 3 psychological thrillers of all time.
Ah yes happy sugar life. I remembered recommending my friend to watch this show blindly. Their reaction was gold when they realize something is very sketch 😂. I have to say regardless of what their character did in the plot, your point about most of their interaction is spot on though. Nice observation
This show is criminally underrated imo. Barely any good reactions, barely any covers for the songs. The most I got was some short video essays about it sharing their interpretations of it, most of which were 3 years ago at this point, around when it came out. Chibi Reviews reviewed the entire series at least, so that was nice. It being a prime video exclusive probably didn't help. It is a very messed up show, but I think that makes it good for reactions. But I understand if you don't want to go through that.
Im now realizing that satou falling in the outro was a foreshadowing to her death 🥲 cause satou fell first while hoilding shio And satou coming back is still a foreshadow to shio basically acting like satou in the end
Well,Satou can't feel anything before meeting Shio, she can't feel happiness Shio's mom has the most f-cked up life in this anime(you can read the manga to know her backstory)
Gakkou Gurashi (School-Live) OP and ED analyses please. I will eat my popcorn and giggle waching it. That's another anime usually recommended to watch blindly. But for a different reason in comparsion to HSL. Basically if you can't outright tell what's the series is about you just watch first episode of it.
@@thecoffeeshopreactions4505 Kidnapped? MC took the girl home after her mom abandoned her on the streets. Her family situation is fucked to the point that second best option for her is orphan home.

I think you recognize the ED’s singer since it’s Reona who I think you know from some of SAO’s OPs.
Also that one synopsis is just flat wrong, Satou and Shio are NOT banging.
Well they do sleep in the same bed, but they don't "sleep" together. Coffee kinda jumped to conclusions there I think.
they do in the end she did kiss her in the lips
Satou's love is pure but the way she protect that love is f-cked up XD
@@takasakisaito1210 I agree XD
While the songs sound cheerful and cute, the lyrics tell a different story. Basically this show in a nutshell.
Well,Satou can't feel anything before meeting Shio, she can't feel happiness

In a way you are right with the theory of imagination. You just have the timeline wrong~

Did u get that from him talk about figments of imagination?
I think the weird thing is only her loving the little girl, that's all. And the love toward girl is not weird, just in case you might question
Well it's weird, but not...super weird, lol.
@@handtomouth4690 there's a lot of normal and decent Yuri anime BTW

Never touching this !
The Coffee Shop Reactions I’m having second thoughts about watching this. 😬 lol!
You can always watch first episode.
@@inday-neesanreacts its worth it to watch even tho its pretty messed up :P
