Pond Prowler (Micro Skiff) Caught in Nasty Ocean Chop!
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 27 мар 2024
- The northern winds quickly shifted east and caused some nasty conditions for my tiny Pond Prowler mini pontoon boat! Doesn't show great on camera, but you can hear the wave slap and can see the sharp angles in which my boat was positioned. This was pretty confidence boosting in terms of this "pond" boats true capabilities! It's important to rember during situations like these, to keep calm and fish on! My PFD was right behind me and at no point did I even remotely feel like I was going to tip.

I’ve been watching small boat vids for YRS…. This just convinced me to finally get one for the inner Chesapeake bay
Awesome!!
I’m super proud of you going out and figuring it out🎣 You definitely on your way to becoming a kicking some tail fisherman 🎣🎣🎣
Cool video😎
Thank you!!
legit just found you cause i wanted a cheap boat to take out in the salt water
Not one drop of water came in that boat, I give this boat a 10.
Dudes a hot mess!! But great job
Haha 100% agree about being a mess. Still learning, thanks!
I live in Panama City Beach half the year and would like to take you offshore fishing one day if you want to go. i have watched several of your videos and i think you would have a blast.
Yes yes and yes!!
@@GreysonRoberts Awesome i will send you a email later this afternoon with my contact info. i will put offshore fishing in the subject line.
So you think you would have fair better on thay day, with the 3.5hp?
Oh for sure. Would have gotten out of the situation quicker. Knowing how well this boat holds up months later, I would not have been as worried as I was in the moment.
Really reeled that fish al the way in...give yourself some slack to work with to unhook your fish. A landing net would go a long way too. Tight lines.
Awesome thanks! Just bought one and I’ll start leaving plenty slack
💕 Wow💚💚💚💙💙💚💙
That was so painful to watch. In rough water, you want to get as much weight out of the front of the boat (bow) and trim your motor up a little to help the bow raise and fall with the waves, without "digging in". And you said you were scared, but didn't put a life jacket on. And watching you with that fish, dunking your reel in salt water...cringe worthy. And that poor fish... their slime, which you were wiping off where you were grabbing him, protects them from disease, sores and worms, and I must say, by the time you got done with him he didn't have much slime left on him. Maybe the government ought to require training to receive a fishing license/boating license. I spent much of my life on Florida waters and the Marine Patrol has flagged me down numerous times to help recover dead bodies of inexperienced people. The wind can increase rapidly, especially in the fall, spring and around thunderstorms, increasing the waves in the river to 4-6 feet, which would dump you out of that rig and the wind would blow your boat out of reach, and the waves would be crashing over head making it difficult to swim or even breath. And it happens more often than you think.
Thank you for your comment. Everyday I learn something new to keep myself and the fish I catch safe. Have a good one and God bless!
God Bless you as well, be careful out there.@@GreysonRoberts
