I flagged a listing on an epiphone a couple months back. The sellers description said no mods. The guitar hard replaced tuners, pickups, knobs, and truss rod cover. That’s all I could see from the pictures. In a message I informed him he may have not realized it had been modified. He said he figured it out after overpaying for it. He said he needed to make his money back on it so he was lying about it having Gibson pickups still. I informed reverb and all they did was remove the no mods description. He sold that guitar and fleeced somebody. Reverb don’t care.
That’s certainly fair. Any chance of using a “totally not a preorder platform” like Kickstarter? I’m very familiar with that process from the customer side (much to the dismay of my bank account) because of the tabletop gaming hobby’s reliance on it, so it’s something that comes to mind for me. Obviously different industries have different practices, and as I get the majority of my info about this industry from your channel, I’ll of course claim no expertise.
10 seconds in and I get an "I contain multitudes"?!?!
Love this show.

Nice! I have the 30th anniversary TS-9 too. Hopefully you don't decide it's the worst of the Tubescreamer line😊
"chewy ice" lmao the most relatable thing I've heard all day

fun hang! thanks for hosting!
also got a great deal on a Positron and Fates!
With regard to Mythos humbuckers, would it make financial sense for you to sell them via a preorder with a minimum quantity?
But if I don’t meet the moq then I can’t fulfill and I don’t want to take peoples money up front if I can help it.
