Sublime…you have a God given talent, your ability to paint such a large portion of your painting in rocks only is a talent I don’t often see. Thank you for sharing such an inspiring piece of artwork. ♥️
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words! I feel truly fortunate to share my work, and I’m really glad you found it inspiring. I really appreciate your support and encouragement! 🧡
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoy the painting. Rocks are such a great subject because, like you said, they often have a full range of values, which makes them really dynamic to paint.
Do you like dampen the paper first to achieve that smooth transition of colors? And whats the paper is it like cold press or hot press?LOVE THE PAINTING BTW!
For the smooth color transitions, I often dampen the paper first using clean water, especially when I’m blending larger areas. It helps create that soft, seamless effect. The paper I used for this painting is Arches Rough-it has a lovely texture. So happy you love the painting, thank you so much for watching!

I didn’t see the brand names for the palette colors…are they there somewhere and I just did not see them? The only links were for brushes…also, who is the arist..thanks
Hi there! Thanks for pointing that out. You're right-I didn't include the brand names for the palette colors in this video, but I'll make sure to add them in the description for future videos.
Hi there! Great question :) When painting indoors, I usually work from photographs or reference images. It helps me capture details and lighting, but I also like to add my own creative touch. Thanks 💖
@@ArtPaintingNow Ah I love that! I've been keeping a small collection of images I take myself for future practise. I'd been thinking of trying to find some good imagery too and using other peoples photos plus I like being able to take my time with a piece or being able to come back too it later. Thank you so much for answering my question ☺💕
It’s great that you’re building a collection of your own images-that will really make your practice more personal and meaningful. Using other people's photos for inspiration is also a great idea, especially when you're looking to challenge yourself with different subjects.

Wonderful ❤❤❤
Bery beautiful. I love paintings with rocks in them for some reason. I guess it's because they usually have the full range of values.

@@ArtPaintingNow and the name of the demo artist?
Hi, just a quick question :) Do you paint from an image or a photograph when you paint indoors?
