Sad. Just watched, with enthusiasm, your first video. Then saw this one. 😢
Best of luck on your other boats.

I have a 1986 Egg Harbor 33, have been enjoying your hard work. There are a lot of them disappearing, looks like you have a good place to keep her for now. There is a long road ahead of you, Tough choices, best of luck.

That's too bad disappointed I've been binge watching your videos all day and I'm enjoying them very much! I think Sprezzatura said it best. But Its your boat you know more than any of us if its worth to go ahead with the remod..These boats are becoming rarer as the years go by. Some times it not the money, other times it your love for that particular boat. if it has a really good haul then she will be worth it in my opinion to completely gut the boat and do as thorough remod then you'll know if you'll have a good boat that will last you the rest of your life. But no matter what, it comes down to Your decision period. Hope you decide well. I'm hear for the rest of the build if you decide to continue. God bless Bruh.

What an absolutely bummer. I loved your videos. I've been redoing my 83 Egg 33 and found your videos inspirational. If I lived closer I'd come and help you finish it up. You did so much already, you can regroup and finish it up. Keep the faith!

There are plenty of project boats out there. Its important to choose carefully, for the right reasons. It almost never makes sense to "fix and flip" boats. Usually you finish upside down. Fist, get your engines running, given that youve pickled them, they will come back. You might find a pair of small diesels, say 4-71's for cheap that would transform the boat. They are low tech and bulletproof. Gut the engine room, clean, paint, rewire and install the diesels. Then you'd have the hard part done and a much safer, much more economical boat. At that point she is worth fixing up. You could also gut the engine room and use it for additional tankage. Then install an outboard mount on the transom. Find a good used outboard and you could at least put-put around coastal waterways. You can alsways swap your boat, as is, for a different project. But any direction you take only makes sense if you plan on keeping her for you own enjoyment. Good luck!

Man, I was really hoping to see her come to life. Looked like such good times were had on her. The AirBnB idea was very cool, and that would be a way to still get to fix her up, have some enjoyment out of her, and make a little money for you work. I vote AirBnB! Then I'd like to watch you fix up the sailboat. Just my two cents though. Enjoy the channel!

Such a sad video. Hate this is the outcome of all your hard work. Things happen for a reason. I say sell her out right and restore the sail boat. I'd like to see it come to life.
