I love synchronous events and how things will find their way into your life at just the right moment. This is a beautiful conversation that will help a lot of women in their journeys. Thank you both for taking the time to share.
Wow!! Im a man and I loved every question and response! I believe this message is not only for women but for everyone who's vulnerable enough to receive this message. I love listening to women be vulnerable in this way because it helps me understand myself more as a man and as a human being. The universe sent me this podcast from a clip on instagram. Im so glad I did research and found this RUclips channel. Two beautiful women sharing authenticity while owning their femininity makes me naturally move into my masculine energy. The softness and nurturing tones from both of you women. Im deeply grateful to have experienced this message. This energy is very much needed and appreciated! I'll be coming back to receive this message more often. I love learning from other people's spiritual journeys. It helps me along my journey as well. The part that resonated with me the most is when Candyss spoke on maintaining spiritual individuality while being in a relationship. Respecting alone time and the part about having children at the end. Whoa! This resonates.
Wow your comment is so beautiful and brought joy to my heart! I love that your heart was open to receive and take something from this conversation😭 everything you said was spot on, I think the message is for any person on a journey to better understand themselves, doing inner work or just whoever is open and willing to receive all the gems she dropped This was such a powerful and healing conversation, I’m glad I found this video and seeing your comment made it even better🤍 Oh and I think you might really like this other video. It’s an interview called Growing Through Peace, with Lauren London and Michael Beckwith🔥
I saw a clip of this interview on a friend’s IG story, and what I heard Candyss say resonated soo deeply, I took action to follow her, this channel/IG page and found the full podcast soo fast! I’m sooo grateful for this interview, thank you. ✌🏾❤️🇬🇧
For me it followed after drekas and I feel like she is exactly what I needed to hear. I promise you I have prayed for a woman a black woman to give this information in this manner because this space have been dominated by black men and others. I love this and I am so glad I found her
The trauma response of not being loved... My oh my... Vulnerability and I are starting to have a relationship... Being able to express myself and again release control....... Coming from a cbean background seeing my mother do it all... Has made it so difficult for me to give up that control and let a lead or provide love..... This one resonated with me..... The gratitude withiny heart for existing in a time where I'm aware and able to heal.... Woosahhh...
Thank you for sharing this! It’s definitely giving something to think about when it comes to soft life era. I was absolutely burnt out but now I’m feeling like it times to get back to things.
I keep going back to the video because when Candyss said people mirror how we treat ourselves…how do you not keep your word for yourself and expect other people to. That’s your lesson to keep from feeling rejected or abandoned. Retrain yourself to trust your intuition. People will see how you move and respect that!
Thank you for the tid bit at the end about not having kids. Touched my spirit, you are such a gift. You are so right you nurture so many things besides kids
I am watching this at 1am and just crying my eyes out, this has been so eye opening and I feel deeply for you ladies for making the space for this conversation. So much wisdom 💛
My goodness snap snap snap snap snap snap snap!!!! This was SOOOO GOOOD! I loved every part of this podcast & I have to say you’re my favorite podcast host I’ve ever seen. I never heard of you before, but you should win a Webby!
For years I didn’t give myself permission to set boundaries. I robbed myself of my voice. Just like Candyss said. I got so angry and bitter years ago and didn’t understand why. I came to the same realization that I’d robbed myself of doing what’s best for me trying to be the nice guy or to get along.
Thank you for sharing this information with US ❤❤❤ I really was ready to listen clearly... Just can't believe how much it resonate with how I feel, amazing stuff. Thank you.
Thank you thank you thank you for this! I saw Candyss' clip on IG when she was discussing having a lack of trust in yourself and not honoring what I say to myself and the impact of that on responding to our intuition. I'd come to the truth of that in my life but I'd NEVER heard anyone else articulate that. Thank you for this!
I don’t encounter that many women saying they don’t need a man. I think that’s a false narrative that many or most independent women say this. I like that Candyss addressed it for both men and women before focusing on the women in more detail.
Loved this episode for the most part but I disagree with the love and relationship aspect. Everyone is not meant to be in a romantic relationship, so when women say they don't want or need, desire a relationship its not always a trauma response or comes from a place of fear. There are some women who can express this these feelings and that may very well be their truth. We gotta start allowing people to live in their singlehood without attaching stigmas of negativity like trauma to it. P.S. I am not single nor have this concept about relationships ( When you think outside the box people tend to try passively attach certain ideas towards you) I just allow people to be without putting societal norms or my ideas on to them.
Going away for 2 weeks is wild. I do agree with alone time and spiritual hygiene and refocusing and recentering yourself but 2 weeks is wild. I still have a honor of protecting you, providing for you, and pouring into you. Needing 2 weeks of space from someone you’re married to is mental mind games and child like behavior in my opinion. Especially considering you with someone that each of you devoted your lives to the other! Is 5 days not enough? Is 7 days not enough? Retreats don’t even last that long. 14 days!!! How often are these 2 weeks needed? How informed am I? What are the rules? Now overall i loved this interview and i overall agree. Even with taking time away from your spouse. The length is just a little too outlandish to me.
Is 5 days not enough? Is 7 days not enough? Why two weeks? All of those questions have an energy of pressure, possession, control & attachment, but love & those things cannot co-exist! The average person is “devoted” to their partner FIRST & this is why the lose themselves in relationships. My personal devotion is to GOD 1st, my personal healing & spiritual journey 2nd & my partner 3rd. So to be clear I’m not taking two weeks away partying it up in Vegas. I’m in the mountains or in nature alone in silence & in solitude because that is was God or my spirit is guiding me to do to stay balanced, emotionally healthy & spiritually in tune. So attachment will never work for a man or woman that’s devoted to their healing & spiritual journey & if your relationship is truly healthy, your partner will acknowledge that your freedom is your birthright & we can still honor, respect & devote ourselves to our relationships & our partners but we can also honor our personal journeys without fear or being controlled. I’m 1000% present for my husband in every way he needs, but he’s done so much emotional spiritual work that he’s supportive of whatever i need to do to maintain my spiritual health, opposed to being selfish & controlling to meet his personal needs
1:02:07 Not so much! I’m single and am exhausted from being in a relationship/marriage for 15 years. When I say I don’t want a man it’s not my trauma speaking. It’s me wanting to stay in my alone sacred space.

Candyss aired me all the way out “feeling like a coward…by not speaking up for myself I’m robbing myself of opportunities to be authentic” - 😮💨

Only 23 mins in and I’ve been so glued to the messages that I forgot to take notes.

Love and forgiveness are not always authentic. You have to arrive at a place of love and forgiveness. Powerful!! There’s a place for sacred anger.
Spiritual hygiene!
This hit home. My soul home. Thank you beautiful ladies ✨💗
