This was so simple thank you! Could you explain how to also add an image (icon) to the left of the verbiage on a link on hover? Haven’t been able to figure it out yet. Thanks for all your help again!
Hey! So this would require something like ':before' in your code, it's kinda hard to explain in a comment. But if you Google something along the lines of 'Add arrow to text link' you'll be able to replace the arrow AND replace the part in the code where it says ':after' with ':before' I call this 'reverse engineering' and it's actually how I taught myself CSS!
Super helpful thank you Sam, it worked throughout my site perfectly. Do you know how I could apply these effects to my dropdown menu too? This didn't effect the links there. Thanks in advance...
Hey Sam, thank you so much for this video! I wanted to ask you, How can I make the corresponding navigation bar text highlight when I hover over an image that is also a link? For example, how can I make the "Home" text in the navigation bar highlight when I hover over an image that links to the homepage?
Thanks! Simple and helpful.
Glad it helped!
exactly what i was looking for.
So glad to hear it!
Thanks! Easy to follow and quick results!
You're welcome!
