Very informative. Thank you for taking the time to record the vid. Did you also replace the Front section including the flex pipe on this car? I have a 1999 accord 4 cyl LX. The flex pipe is leaking. It appears I have to replace the entire section before the Cat. The bolts to the cat are completely rusted. Wondering how to deal with that. Thanks.
Your welcome! I did I went with a different header and flex pipe. However I don’t recommend doing that unless you pay the money for a good header. As for as the cat goes I cut mine out, and replaced it with a test pipe and an o2 cheater.
I ordered my exhaust but sadly I had to wait a little extra longer because they was out of stock but I got my email yesterday and ima just say I’m so pumped to get my exhaust
I love yonaka exhaust, affordable, and doesn't sound cheap and raspy! My favorite exhaust combo is a vibrant resonator and muffler. That's what I ran on my boosted d series and it sounded like a Euro car!
Wow, finally an exhaust that doesn't sound like a fucking fart can on a Honda accord, I have a 99 accord ex and I'm gonna do a cold air intake, catback exhaust, put some new spark plugs in it and new mass airflow sensor since mine just went bad
@@BoostedDilly thank you did you have to special order it or something? My cat was stolen and I'm trying to patch things back up. The flange from the flex pipe isn't agreeing with the OEM cat so I'm kind of stuck. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance
@@abcthings1122 I went with an aftermarket header and down pipe. If you go aftermarket make sure to get a stock gasket the ones that come with the new header (if you go that route) suck. And I didn’t special order anything. Everything besides the catback from yonaka was off of ebay.
Sounds good im thinkin of gettin this one for my 6th gen. Hey by any chance does any one know if he has a cold air intake installed on this 6th gen video.?
I have a 2000 accord EX 4cyl automatic trans and am going to purchase this yonaka exhaust. For me I will have to have a muffler shop put mine on. Is there anything extra I might need to purchase with the new system so I won’t have any surprises at the shop or are they just going to plainly switch my old with new?
nice video! wish you would have done a drive by comparison too but its still good! just a small tip, your speaking volume is like a 1 and your music volume is at a 10 so my speakers are rip XD

So happy you went with this setup it’s so nice
liljonthetrack98 Yes it does! Sounds great! Thanks for watching!
Good work! I see you working on those camera angles. The exhaust sounds good! Nice video!

I run the vibrant set up on mine and I love it
Full Throttle VTEC I was gonna go vibrant then I seen yonaka was running a crazy deal
I paid 600 for mine
Gotta get that belt replaced 😂
Lol 😂 couple years ago now
@@BoostedDilly mine recently sounded exactly like that fixed it right away cause stop lights you get man stares 😂

@@BoostedDilly It’s on black friday sale for 399$ on the link you put in the description. Retail is 599$

Sounds super good . I wonder if these would work for the 3.0 as well
I’m sure it would! But I’m not sure
Thanks man might get this on mine Honda Accord cohoe 👍🏽🤣

Glad the video helped! I love the exhaust still to this day!
What was all that stuff that blew out when you started it for the first time?
The alternator belt squeaks. Is your power steering return line leaking down onto it?
Yes the seals were shot. Replaced them and now we are good
Nice video! Does anyone knows if this will fit in the coupe Accord as well?
Did this bolt to the stock catalytic converter?...nvm where'd you get the test pipe?
I didn’t have a Cat, I ran a test pipe but the bolt pattern was the same!

Boosted_Dilly do you have a cold air intake in your car the one on the video with the yonaka exhaust?
No just an air filter on the oem air piping.

Is there anything extra I might need to purchase with the new system so I won’t have any surprises at the shop or are they just going to plainly switch my old with new?
They will be able to bolt it right up
Ok. The guy said he will charge between $110- 120 to take off the old and install the new. Is that a fair price you think?
@@CitygirlRayA Yeah I mean I’d do it myself if it’s not rusty. Very easy to do. But yes that’s fair
Ok. Because since it’s a “bolt on” assembly I was thinking is $100 too steep. I gotcha!
My car has a catalytic converter. Will this yonaka bolt to the catalytic converter?
What header did you go with? I’m looking at the Megan 4-2-1 header and flex pipe
Some cheaply 4-1 off eBay

We tried to a drive by however it was very windy and didn't sound great!
We gonna have fun in Mexico when I come up in a month 🌝🤣
Full Throttle VTEC Hahaha you boys like Mexico
Any one know what size bolt and nut for the headers and exhaust to connect
I can try to get some specs for you
I would love to know what test pipe you got because I have a cg6 and they fit like the exact same so I was wondering which one you got?

Was it just the exhaust or headers to for it to sound like that
Header test pipe exhaust
Does it come with all of the bolts and everything?
Yes it does

is this for v6 honda according to se 2002 aswell?

@@BoostedDilly whats it for? whats before v6
I put a full exhaust on my 6th gen coupes and the car lost like 30 pounds
The factory exhaust definitely had some weight to it!
Did you have the intake
When installed
I never truly installed an intake, I removed the factory air box and just ran a cone filter on the factory air pipe.
Is this legal in California?
You’d have to reach out to yonaka. I don’t live in California.
That was the worst before and after sound clips
Sorry you feel that way lol
No hard feelings bro I just wished I could get more quality out the sound I really wanna get this and was hoping to hear a good clip
You do know there is a whole video on this exhaust vs a vibrant setup on my channel
Boosted_Dilly I didn’t thanks for telling me
