    Why this can't be played like Saraswati veena or Sitar with continuous beats. ?

      @@naveenverycool1 Rudra Veena is played in Dhrupad style, and this instrument is designed to follow the Dagarvani style of playing...

      Yeah. The jod part can be accompanied by a pakhawaj, or be played without, nevertheless keeping in mind the taal. Also compositions in dhamar taal can be played with continuous beats.

      Because it is is alap it has no continuous beat
