Santoor is not Persian it's originated from Indian subcontinent and become famous in Eastern countries like Afghanistan and Iran by Farsi speaking Afghans ( Tajiks ) who ruled over India
we as iranians have a deep connection with this instrument. They way you play it, is just breath taking! May you receive the blessings of the almighty brother!
Greetings to you, dear Nasrin From your beautiful name, it is clear that you are an Iranian lady and I am surprised that this is the first time you hear the spiritual melodies of the santur! The santur is an instrument whose strings are in the very fabric of every Iranian's existence. I sincerely wish you the best. Your friend: Homayoun from Tehran ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🌹
I'm an iranian woman who left my homeland years ago for a better future far away from the government. Often when I hear Santur, it makes me sad remembering my departure. But the way you play it, brings hope to my soul and make me heal diving deep to my persian roots again. Thank you for your beautiful music

I’m not Persian I went to a concert of classical Persian music which included the Neh. My soul resonates with the Neh and Turkish Saz in particular. Tears throughout the concert. The Neh, evokes yearning like that of a Lover for his Beloved. I hear concern and caring in this instrument. It is a wish to nurture and to heal the tragedy of suffering.
A new low chill favorite! Lovely! I'm a German immigrant with American (English) and Soviet heritage working as a college degreed truck driver out of West Texas. Thanks, you Persians for this fine gift of goodwill in our messy, too hateful too often world of ours! 🥰😎🤠🙏🕊️
I am Iranian and I am very proud of my country's rich 7,000-year-old culture. Iran will soon be free from religious dictatorship. Thank you for showcasing of our culture❤❤❤❤
