hope you are all having a lovely day! comment books you believe are worth all the hype!
For me it was Daughter of the Sun by Amanda Auler!!
The percy Jackson series
The Percy Jackson series and Keeper of the Lost Cities series
You need to read “nothing more to tell” (I forgot the author) ITS SO GOOD READ IT PLSSS
Percy Jackson by Rick riordan
i think song of achilles is worth so much hype, i finished it a couple days ago and i’m completely broken. it was worth it tho that book was amazing. i think ima read circe next
I'm still broken over a year later. I thought I would re read it right away but I just can't bear it again
yeah i want to re read it so bad but idk if it’s worth the pain 💀 i might read and just stop when they’re still happy and in love when they’re training with chiron
It was so freaking good. Worth all the hype it gets.
Song of Achilles was so good and I have a hardback copy of it! I got it for my birthday a few months after reading the book for the first time. I’ll forever love it. Circe was great too!
SAAAAMEEE💔😭
madlen miller’s books are actually so amazing, they totally deserve the hype! at least both “circe” and “the song of achilles” really resonated with me, they’re so poetic and tender in a way, they’re like healing, comfort books for me tbh.
SOA left me broken
Fr! I finished SOA today and I read Circe a while ago, I love them both but Soa left be heartbroken
Almond is the craziest and most overwhelmingly good to read..I highly recommend it.
CIRCE IS SO GOOD!!! I just finished reading it the other day and I loved it so much!!! It was definitely a good read
I think that the Grishaverse books, especially the Six of Crows duology, are worth all the hype!!!
Ikrr
Im sorry, i picked up shadow & bone but I cannot finish it. Definitely not worth the hype
@grimz6417 I LOVEDDDD six of crows, but when i picked up shadow and bone i had to dnf it
Sorry, I didn't like soc at all
Agreed!! My favorite fantasy series ever
It was six of crows for me, it’s probably one of the best book I’ve ever read, and first on my list. The plot, the characters, the romance, and twists, and the layout (also the ships, I am looking at you Wylan and Jesper)
Should I read the shadow and bone books before six of crows or can i start right away
you can read six of crows without reading shadow and bone :) that's what i did. i loved six of crows even tho ive never read shadow and bone. although i feel like you could understand some terms better if you've read shadow and bone. but it won't really affect your general understanding of six of crows@@kashvivocals7885
WESPER
@@kashvivocals7885Shadow and Bone is technically dry before Six of crows and is the first series to read chronologically, but I read six of crows first and loved it.
@@kashvivocals7885You may put off SaB books, those books are worse than SoC, if you wanna understand SoC fully you can watch the show for the basic things (it’s way faster and easier than to read the books imo), but it’s all about what you prefer, but SaB is not necessarily needed to read SoC
Almond was AMAZING. nothing has beat this book it’s just so well put together like the friendships and family relationships and his disorder i loved it sm it has a special place in my heart 💓
hey, could you tell me a bit about what to expect with the book from a reader's perspective, and if it's an easy read or not, interested in possible reading it if i can w/ school books. don't have to btw
@@generic_fishik its 4 months later, but super easy read, it so captivating, the best first page ive read.
@generic_fish it wasn't all that great unless you're into emotionally driven books
yess circe!! i finished it the other day, and it was honestly so good, it definitely exceeded expectations. ive never read anything like it, especially as someone who doesnt read a lot of greek mythology, but it got me really invested. i would totally recommend to anyone even if you think its not your thing!!
Circe is seriously amazing
What’s it about
I read it last year and still think about this book 😍
i honestly didnt like it, especially the ending
The Magnus Chase series. The first book was on my shelf for like 2 years💀
real 😭
Powerless! I got it ages ago but just wasnt in the mood for it, tried it again later and now the entire series has a place in my heart, so excited for fearles!!!
i regret putting off six of crows for like over 5 months! i loved it so muchhh
Oh! it’s really high on my tbr but i haven’t read the shadow and bones series yet and i’d like to know if you did? does it affect the storyline?
@@r.h9687 i haven’t read sab because i didnt like the plot so i started directly w soc duology
@@r.h9687I read both, and I loved both. Although you don’t need to read SAB first, there’s little Easter eggs in SOC, and SAB takes place first so I would recommend reading them in that order. Six of crows is better imo, and it has to be my fav two books ever :)
If you liked that, you would love Daughter of the Sun by Amanda Auler! So so good!
@@r.h9687 You can directly start off with Six of Crows
Almond made me cry a lot
Read it in one day
just read it all in one day today, insanely good, and the authors note hit even harder. For a DEBUT!
I put off percy jackson, and once i read it, i loved it
REAL
I recommend perks of being a wallflower(tw:mentions of suicide, sexual harassment, ptsd, drugs and alcohol) good if you like general coming of age with a love story
Next is I’m glad my mom died by jennette mccurdy (tw: abuse, eating disorders, sex, smoking, alcohol, death) this is a memoir about the relationship between jennete(actress in icarly and Sam and cat playing sam) and her mother who was abusive, I highly recommend that you listen to the audiobook as well!
Omg... amazing song... also court of thorns and roses...🤩🤩
Completely agree with If We Were Villains! I got an ARC of this book before it came out and didn't read it until 2 years after the release date and I SERIOUSLY regret it. LOVED IT. 💖
Percy Jackson my brothers pushed me to read and I DID NOT WANT TO buy them eventually I read them with my brother and now I’m in 4th grade they are literally my whole personality and I’m on blood of Olympus and I started reading the Lightning thief 2023 late august? Maybe but I love the books now
My high lord Rhysand 💗
Agreed 😌
#Azriel
#Lucien
#nomoretamlin lol😂
#tamlingetsnobitches
Circe is absolutely marvelous.
One book I loved but put off was the book thief... Absolute masterpiece
FACTSS, I thought it was boring at first but never judge a book by its cover. 😂
Shatter Me the friendship is soo good and the plot is chef kiss it is even better .
If we were villains is soooooo good I've never read anything like it ❤️
What age is it for?
@@zoe_luciadeanthere are a couple explicit scenes they aren’t too bad but I would say 14+ that’s just my opinion
@@isha2187 thank you so much! I've been looking around but couldn't find a clear answer, so this is very helpful.
@user-fb8gx9ym5h i think you'll like the secret history by donna trat, it has similar vibes to iwwv
@@isha2187YES IF WE WERE VILLAINS is so incredible it changed my life
i put off they both die at the end for the longest time and i’m reading it rn and it’s like the best book i’ve ever read i love it sm
The Legendborn series and PJO literally deserve more hype 😭😭 THEY ARE AMAZING
Edit: i changed it bc agggtm is overrated now
Im sorry but pjo has like one of the biggest fandoms 😭
@@harolds-world not in my school 💀
@@Mayamicbaya oh, thats sad
@@harolds-world ikr
I so sorry, but can you plz tell me what pjo is. I've been trying to find some new books to read, if you any suggestions plz give them to me.
Circe was soo goooood! I finished it in 2 days
Is it appropriate?
I got my motivation to study harder and to work harder ,,,,so that i can buy all the books you mentioned in your RUclips channel 😭❤️ wish me luck
good luck :)
i put off reading all the bright places for months, it was just sitting in my tbr pile, but when i finally read it i was so glad i did. even though i was sobbing my eyes out at the end 😭😭😭
Circe is INCREDIBLE!!!
I LOVE books so much
It’s never too late to read something
I think some of the best readiness experiences I’ve had are books I put off . Right place right time right book.
circe is SO worth the hype!! i liked it more than song of achilles personally. its such a beautiful book!!
I absolutely loved The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid, so I'll definitely have to check out Carrie Soto is Back!!
omg yes its sooo good and if u liked it u should read City of girls
Salt to the sea is an AMAZING book for those who like a bit of history mixed with romance. It kept me on my toes the whole time 😂 i cried and laughed so many times, it has four different narrators and so about every other page you get the story in another persons perspective. I absolutely fell in love with this book and finished it within a few days. 10/10 would recommend ❤
I fell in love with hope, i put it off for like 6 months and i finished it in like 2 weeks and its my favourite book now
i read the first chapter but i didn't feel emotionally stable enough to continue lol i still want to read it someday though it seems amazing
@@saoirsecrowley22 it is THE BEST book in history probably, crazy to know it's just the debut
I love how you showed the whole ACOTAR series. It's seriously my favorite.
Love this song!!! I only got three of those books that you show. However I'm in the middle of ACOTAR series. I still a bit scary because of the hype but I'm enjoying the book so much. The books I don't have even when they were hyped up, I just didn't seem to want to read them. However I look at them again and see if I'm interested now. Happy reading
I remember putting off The Cruel Prince for a couple months because the beginning just wasn’t getting to me.
I ended up finishing the series in 2 days and now I don’t know what to read because I can’t stop thinking about it about it 😭
Six of Crows. ABSOLUTELY.
I got them for Christmas last year and I put them off till May and i regret that. Oh but what i wouldnt give to read them for the first time again
"Thank you for these fantastic book recommendations! 📚 I love how diverse the selection is, catering to different interests and genres. The detailed descriptions and personal insights you provided for each book make it easier to decide which one to pick up next.
You call this diverse ? 😂
I started reading throne of glass series and instantly fell in love with the way sj maas wrote so bought the whole series and entire acotar series. I'm only onto wings and ruin but wish I'd put her books higher on my to read list. Love them x
Circe, if we were villains and carrie soto have become my all time faves 🙌🏻
blue stars prophecy 🔛🔝 (even tho it has legit no hype..)
For me it was Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow. I got it before it came out in a lucky streak of giveaway wins on goodreads, and it sat in my tbr pile for months while it racked up glowing reviews. Finally read it at the end of the year it came out and it was incredible lol
The naturals, shatter me and powerless ❤
Madeline Miller weaves such enticing stories. I cannot get enough of her writing.
Almond whew chile something serious 💕💕💅🏾
acotar was just amazing
Almond was absolutely amazing !
If we were villians is one of my favorite books!!! ❤❤❤
A court of thorns and roses is worth the hype. I just finished a court of silver flames and I was so sad bc I don’t wanna wait a whole year for the 6th book to come out
Circe was literally magical
Off the topic of books but your bed sheet are so cute 😭❤️I want them
Me not knowing any of these books except a court : 👀
ACOTAR - I must be the only person on this planet that struggled through these books. The first one was ok, enough for me to read the second - couldn't even finish the third. I found them super boring and slow.
For me it was the midnight library god I loved that book
yesssss!!
Circe is amazing
i just finished if we were villains! shakespeare isn’t for me and i was never a theatre kid, but even so, that book will forever have a special place in my heart. so much so that i bought my own copy, i miss it already.
I really enjoyed Crescent City, need to try her other series
The Song of Achilles is so worth the hype. I cried so much when reading The Song of Achilles, and it's a really good book! 💙
Oh Circe was so good!!! I got lent it by someone and I'm so grateful
And I'm working my way through ACOTAR now
ACOTAR is so good. I didn’t put it off at all and read it at like 12 but I also don’t regret it.
i read circe in one sitting. i love that book so much!
I LOVE GON AND YUNJAE FROM ALMOND. IT'S SUCH A GOOD BOOK, LITERALLY MADE ME TEARY EYED. THE CHAPTERS ARE REALLY SHORT TOO SO IT GIVES YOU MOTIVATION TO READ. I SHIP GON AND YUNJAE AS WELL. THEIR FRIENDSHIP IS BEAUTIFUL. THEY FIT TOGETHER. THEY JUST FIT. IF YOU WANNA JOIN ME FANGIRL, READ ALMOND. PLEASE. YOU WONT REGRET IT.
I absolutely loved Circe
This makes me so excited, I loved circe and I just got A court of thorns and roses
For me it was house of ash and shadow. I bought it and didn’t read it for like a month but when I did it was ❤️
Hey sis, while you were playing I was creating and writing books for to do. Now, we play in my world I create.
have you read they both die at the end and the first to die at the end? they are so good! ❤
Oooooo my tbr list is never endingggg
For me is was fourth wing. When I actually read it I finished it in a day
Currently reading ACOTAR series and I agree, it certainly was worth the hype 🎉
I put off powerless for a long time bc booktok usually disappoints, but when i picked it up again i couldnt put it down.😭😭
1984. I was told it was over hyped and avoided reading it until I did and it was worth it. The climax seriously messes with your head. It made me doubt my sense of reality for a few minutes.
1984 overhyped ?
Just don't listen to book recommendations and do your own research, you'll be much better off for it.
Six of crows 😭😭That book didnt allow me to rest for a moment ....its one of my favourite books and who can forget the silent patient...i lived for the plot
Fave Book❤ I ship kaz and inej sm
I just bought Circe - so exciting!!!
Probably Keeper Of The Lost Cities. I heard of it, but never paid much attention, then got the first book for christmas and finished it in 4 days. Excited for the second book now 😅
YESSS ACOTAR!!!! I love that series and throne of glass soooo much Sarah j Maas is amazing 🤩🤩 rowaelin and feysand to whatever end 😍🫶🏻❤️
Personally, Carrie Soto Is Back fell flat for me, but I’m so glad you like it
I think the Lunar Chronicles and Warrior Cats series.
Acotar is soooo good I ❤ the whole series
CIRCE IS SO GOOD
all these books are so amazing.
i didnt put them off bc i read them immediately after i got them but the inheritance games series was definitely worth the hype, those books are my lifeline 😭
If we were villains is simply one of the best books I’ve ever read
the witch haven, i bought it about 5 months before i read it and i’ve reread it at least 5 times
ALMOND WAS SO FREAKING GOOD I’M ACTUALLY UPSET NOT MANY PEOPLE HAVE READ IT
I have read almond and it's really good
Circe was a good read.. like the poetic descriptions and vivid scenes. But idk if it would fit everyone's taste
If we were villains was so good, I was so disappointed when I found out it wasn’t a series 😭one of the best books I’ve ever read in my opinion.
I would recommend throne of glass
if you want a sad book, with tinges of romance, read “this is where it ends”. it’s a book about panicked high schoolers during a school shooting. absolutely amazing. very short book though, as it’s only 282 pages long. xx
Love the ACOTAR series it is so good
I read Circe and it was really really good, I gave it five stars
I didn't expect to see almond but I gotta say, I could not put that book down. Planning to buy my own copy since I had borrowed it from a library in the past 😁👍🏻
I started Circe and realized half way through that some of the characters are from Song of Achilles. Now it’s kinda fun starting Achilles knowing and rooting for Odysseus. I guess I’ll finish Achilles and go back to Circe
Acotar sameeee i kinda couldnt get past book one then delayed for over a year, re-read the first book and whooosh all of a sudden all books in 2 weeks 😂
I just got court of thorns and roses today, i started chapter 1 but didn't finish it bc it's late. Ima start tommorow
I borrowed the book we were liars in my school library but if it did cost money I would of course buy it it's my favorite book in the hole world and its so emotional and also so beautiful.
