Rest Assured - The Walking Roots Band (Covid19 cover)

We were planning to practice yesterday to get ready to head into the studio in a few weeks. Instead, we elected to connect virtually while physically distancing in the hopes that together we can all still #flattenthecurve. These are strange days, friends, but we choose to live in hope, not fear. Let's get creative, keep our distance (physically), stay connected (all the other ways), avoid crowds, wash our hands, practice Sabbath, make each other laugh over the phone, be kind, and rest assured that we are not forgotten.

Thanks so much!! Lovely voices, harmonies, and encouraging words. Would you be willing to share how you did this so that you stayed in sync with each other? Many others will be encouraging each other and fellowshipping online over the coming weeks. Making music is such a great way to lift our spirits and each others'.

Thanks, Kate! We agree that music helps lift our spirits and stay connected. We made it by starting with one person singing melody, and they sent the video to the rest of us. Then each of the other band members listened to the video through their headphones while they recorded themselves. Everyone sent their videos to one person who did their best to line up all the tracks and put it into one video. It's not perfect, but it's one way of singing together!
