Sam Anderson - who played Sam Gorpley, also played the principal on Growing Pains. Previously to that he played 4 different 1-off characters in each of the WKRP in Cincinnati seasons. (don'tcha think people would notice same actor & different character? Makes me think of Jeffrey Tambour and his different characters on 3's company! (I love those character actors)
