Welcome! Generally speaking, anyone can become a Buddhist if they want to. I don't know about all the customs/laws in each country, but I'm just speaking generally. Typically one takes refuge along with a teacher (at a Temple), but Western Buddhists don't always have that opportunity and can take online. You might also want to explore if there is a Buddhist temple somewhere that you connect with that has an online presence. They may be able to give you the Triple Gem over an internet video meeting such as Zoom!

I have heard about Maitreya who will appear during the end of Kali Yug. Can you try making a video about Maitreya for a better explanation. And I have also heard that it will be the same god referred to as Kalki in Hinduism.

A video on Maitreya sounds like a great idea! In the meantime, here’s my article: alanpeto.com/buddhism/back-to-the-future-buddha/

I am interesting in Buddhism but I don't have a teacher. I know that Buddhism enforced that and I don't know how and where to find a teacher.

    • @AlanPeto

It’s enforced more in certain traditions, but there are others where it is not emphasized as much (or as needed). If you have temples nearby, that’s a great way (and traditional way) to start and find a teacher. There are also temples who are having a lot of services and classes online which makes connecting even easier nowadays. I’d be glad to include some links if interested, but you might also find others you’d be interested in. In short, you can begin where you are. Learn form monastics in any way you can which is easier nowadays thanks to their books, videos, livestreams, social media, and more.
