- The United States has imposed new sanctions on Zimbabwe's President and other senior leaders for their involvement in corruption or serious human rights abuses. This comes as President Joe Biden signed a new executive order terminating the existing sanctions regime against Zimbabwe that had been in place since 2003.

Those sanctions are not working against these leaders , but people who suffer are ordinary poor citizens. Thank you for standing with the oppressed citizens of Zimbabwe.surely some Africans are betraying us big time we have people of Zambia and few other Africans who are feeling the same pain with us Zimbabweans. Our biggest challenge is zanu pf criminal government and the government of ANC under this current President who are know for standing side by side with the dictator regime of Harare. Imagine million of Zimbabwe if not millions are immigrated in SA yet the South African government doesn't see that .South Africans citizens are complaining about us but their government is keep ignoring our call to help us ending this tyrant government. And it all started after they've realized that some NGOs stand with them now they feel they don't need to respect us. I've noticed that even during time of former president Thabo Mbeki, he could not condemn what Robert Mugabe was doing. I've watched people celebrating when Mugabe was ousted but nothing has changed but things seem to be getting even worse. And l don't hear South African government and ANC condemning them l don't understand why
Yes, they need to sanction the leaders directly; freeze their bank accounts, ban them from travel and leave the people alone, they already suffer under these leaders in places like Zim and South Africa.
