Hi Deja, I hope your cough goes away soon and you start to feel better in the next day or two. I agree with you, I do think Medical Assisting is worth it especially as a stepping stone or if you want to get more experience with patients, working in the lab, or even healthcare administration. It is a great career to get your foot in the door for any healthcare career goal. I am currently in my first semester of clinical and lab. Hopefully, I graduate in December 2020 with my Associate's Degree of Science in Medical Assisting. I am a mom of three handsome boys (twins who are 11 and a 3 year ). I am hoping to use my degree to further my education for Health Sciences. I love the content on your channel. You are so relatable... I wish you the very best in your family, your career, and your future education. Congratulations on your growing channel.

I changed my major decided to apply for the BSN program my school offered. I never graduated with my MA degree, I was so close but decided that nursing was where I really wanted to be so I just went for it. I stated school today. Luckily most of my prerequisites got done from the MA program.
@@soleiljolie70 hey, no I’m doing an accelerated 3 year BSN program. I decided since nursing was my really passion that I should just go for it. If you want to get some experience in the medical field MA is they way to go

It give you that push of it is okay and don't be afraid to start this journey even if covid 19 is going on rn.. honestly I am really afraid I might not even get to do a intern or externship bc of covid, I mean our school already limited our lab time to once a week and the rest is like online.... that kinda suck bc I love going to class and interacting with others... but hopefully it will be okay... Also, good luck on ur journey as well whatever u decides to do for the next upper step. 😀
I have a 1 year old and a 1 month old and would like to get into a online MA program since I can’t put my babies in daycare right now because of the virus so I can’t go to an actual school. but honestly a little scared because I know as a MA you’ll be working close with others and I’m just a little scared to work so close to other people now due to this virus being around 😩🤦🏽♀️
I’m a mom to two daughters, and I’ve been married for a year now. I’m almost finished with my first term of MA school, we didn’t have our books this whole term due to covid-19. I just received them today and have 3 final exams tomorrow 😳 I definitely want to further my career into Surgical Technology in a few years.
I’m confused because I’m taking a medical assistant program that last for only 8 weeks, I’m praying things work out great for me. Everyone is saying this career takes close to a year or more to complete.
