I am in good health, but getting older and you are an inspiration. I must say, when I feel down or sorry for myself with doubts of my capabilities or any time I face challenges I think of you and it gives me hope. You are amazing.
Floor looks great. You might want to check on hest shield for your stove and doubled stove pipe . You might be able to get your stove closer to the wall.
I plan on putting slate tile up in the spring on that Platform and back wall. I may even set the stove on some pavers to absorb some heat as well and protect the bottom from heat there as well. We shall see. Thank you for watching.
That’s a great video. There’s many reasons I like watching your stories, but let me give you two right up front #1 You’re not a poodle. Everyone who does camp or off grid videos always comes at you with high energy. Like they just drank 6 cups of coffee and four energy drinks. It’s too much. You just turn the camera on and talk to us like you were sending the clip home to your family. Makes me feel like I know you. #2 your honesty is wonderful. You talk about the price of things. And the truth about why you have not done the back porch yet. Everything cost money. And right now I don’t have it. I love it. #3 I know I said to, but I’ve got to throw this in. You inspire me. The first time I came across your story I saw you sitting on the ground cutting brush with a chainsaw. It blew my mind. And it’s not just that you have been disabled. You have chronic pain. Dang man. You make me glad to be alive. Glad to be an American and proud to be from Maine. Brightens my day every time you post a new video. Just like hearing from my favorite cousin. Enjoy your day., Cuz
Thank you so much. It is great to hear from you. I realize I am not all full of energy and all that. I am just being Me and if people want to watch then that is the best way. I will not have to try to be something I am not. I see it on RUclips everywhere. They tell you to be enthusiastic and energetic to get people drawn in. I just hope that my actual life may do that and encourage a few in the same situation. Thank you again. I am glad to hear that some people see through the non sense.
Hope you see this. I'm 55, male, outdoorsy, hunt, fish etc,....going thru some serious medical....neuro is working to find out what type of demyelating disease I have. Point is, My legs are starting to go, having a very hard time walking....a very very hard time....I gain a ton of information of what I'm facing by watching your videos....the cabin is great etc but watching you get shtuff did regardless gives me just a little hope I can adjust to being "handy capable"...You, my good sir, are an Ace among jokers. I appreciate you!
The floor looks great. Thanks for sharing.
