Really good videos and great job replying to the queries! I have one question. Is it really difficult to get jobs after DDM since we don't have in depth knowledge of each thing that we study?
I wouldn't say it's really difficult, because more or less everyone gets a job after finishing studies in some time... The thing is if you do your internships, thesis in one particular domain the easier it would be to get a job...
Of course as foreign national students learning German would be very beneficial in landing jobs quicker
If we are not able to show our focused approach on one topic or domain by the end it will get a bit tricky

CGPA: 8.32 Uptill 6th sem
6 months Internship as a Industrial Design Engineer
1 month internship at Tata motors
4 months project management intern
1month summer intern in the Research and Wing design.
Published one paper.
About to give Goethe A1 german exam in 5days
Projects: Participated in SAE Baja as a Chassis engineer
And 2 more international rover and drone design competitions where our rank was 13th internationally.
And a few certified courses from Linkedin and in Ansys from Cad center.
Hi Gaming Zone, your profile is good and you can for sure try by applying.. However as per My info from talking to other Indians who studied with me and other batch, students who have CGPA above 9 get the admission. I don't know how do they select and I hat weightahe the uni gives, but the thing is if someone with better profile(CGPA) than you applies then maybe they get admission, if yours is the best profile they have then you get it. So the probability of that happening is less looking at past students who got admission but you never know..

Yes, your profile is pretty good. Atleast in the last two years, people who applied directly after bachelors also have got admission (approx 2-3). I hope this info helps.

So do we only have to fill up that form and upload it or can we make our own letters and upload them? I would really appreciate if you reply! Thanks!
I had done everything as per their pre made PDF file. I didn't make my own formats. I just filled in their format. I hope this information helps you.

You would need around 15 lakhs for your end to end costs to be met for 3 semesters.

Hi could you tell me whether the recommendation need to be sealed by college or university?
Also should the professor send the recommendation to the university?
Recommendation needs to be put in an envelope and sealed by university stamp and you can send it along with your other documents to university

Hello kiran , im from india and actually ive one very big doubt, i.e which course is better for design engineer ...ddm course in esslingen or CAME course in rwth aachen
Both are totally different courses
I would recommend you DDM if you want to study general design of components
If you choose CAME I feel it’s like a bit of specialisation

I have a question about the visa procedure
I got accepted yesterday in the ASM program called 'Automitive Systems' in this university
Unfortunately the visa procedure in my country takes a lot of time (students need at least 8 months before obtaining the visa appointment with the embassy).
Therefore, I'm currently in a very difficult situation, risking to not beeing able to join the course and therfore to loose this programme.
My first question is : does the university intervene in the visa procedure in orther to accelerate or facilitate it for the accepted students ?
My second question : does this university offer the possibility to start the course online and join later when I get my visa ?

2. online was possible during corona but maybe not now… ask once the department and check

I have got admit from Esslingen for DDM course ( WS 2022 ) and other admits from FAU ( Computational Engineering ) and Stuttgart ( COMMAS ). According to you which course should i choose considering the future scope and Career prospective. As you have done the DDM course you might be the best person to guide me.
Hi Vedant, here is information from my experience... Before I go into the info, hearty congratulations on getting admission in these Universities 🔥
COMMAS is M. Sc course which offers more options through electives and moreover if you want to go into academics the options are more here..... Also a major difference is that you can learn more technical stuff in this domain at the Technical university .
Hochschule esslingen course provides you already fixed subjects. Adv : relatively easier course, you can finish in 3 sems and get a job quickly Disadvantage: if looking for to learn something crazy in depth and new, you might be disappointed... This course provides you an allround overview of the development process... So it had a widened scope for jobs as such...
FAU Erlangen is a focused course of computational engineering... I dont have currently more info on this course... But looks for me similar to COMMAS...
so deciding factors:
What's you expectation ? In terms of technical depth you are looking....
How quick you wanna finish?
Do you want to get into computational course (COMMAS or FAU compeng) or a general Mechanical engineering course
(DDM)

I would say tbh everyone finds a job after finishing courses in these university... So you can keep this out of equation... If you study well this will be taken care automatically..

I have another doubt.... What is the difference between the job roles which are offered after completion of the DDM course and after completion of Computational course.
As a DDM student you can normally get jobs in any domain such as simulation or design, quality, material science.. The only catch is you need to gain experience in the domain through internships or previous work experience before masters.... You can possibly orient...in computational science I don't think you can get into CAD jobs or material science if you have none of these subjects In masters because you already are an expert in one domain through the course..you might be working in software development roles or simulation engineering or structural engineering ... Please watch computational engineering episode from Gursimran Singh to get clear idea...
If one wants to pursue his career as a CAE analysit after masters .... which course should one choose.... the DDM course or computational engineering course.

i have a bachelors in automobile engg and i wanted opt for DDM or Vehicle Dynamics!
So, can i do the masters??
In Esslingen they have high weightage to CGPA. So the chances are very less. But for sure you can do masters, you might have to apply for many universities

As far as I know, the experience matters to get admission for this course. Also they look for engineering grades... Therefore I believe, with your experience you should stand a chance, and since the application is free of cost and no GRE or Toefl is needed, I believe there is no harm in applying for the next intake
@@kirankamath Yeah thanks for the reply. I thought of asking this as there will be an international competition in admission. And for this there are opening the admission from Nov 2nd unlike every year like in October.

Hi Kiran my cgpa is 7.62 and I have did 3 months internship in designing field and also I have did Master diploma in product design and analysis after completing my bachelor's degree . Is there any chances of acceptance for my application?
Tbh CGPA matters the most along with work experience to get an admission.... However it depends on your co applicants... If many having better CGPA and work experience apply at the same time they get the chance... So I would say chances are bleak but you never know until you try.. PS: I know people who faced rejection for this course even with 9 CGPA and 3 years work experience.

Your profile is nice but the only thing i am thinking of is... I don't know anyone who got admission with less than 9 CGPA , but i know one of them who got rejected even with 9.3 CGPA and work experience...

I got admit into DDM and CVT course.
Would like to know which one will be having good opportunities in future.
CVT course may give you option to deviate from core mechanical.. However DDM is fully into core mechanical stuff... Based on this you can make a decision... Howevew after finishing the courses, both would land you a job normally...
