What makes me feel really at peace is a day when I’m off from work and I can just bake or cook a cozy meal 🥹 I’ve learned thanks to you that there’s beauty in slow simple living 💛 you really do see things differently and learn to truly appreciate everything you have and who you have. I work 2 jobs and am planning my wedding for next month and it’s been so hectic 🥺 as you can imagine my days are always jammed packed and it can get so stressful and tiring.. but being able to have a cozy and peaceful afternoon in my apartment is what makes me feel so relaxed 🥰

I’ve been so loving these fall videos! What brings me peace is slow mornings: making coffee, reading, journaling. And I love getting outside somewhere quiet (especially near the changing leaves now!) and just sitting and listening to the sound of the leaves. One more thing is being in the company of people who know me and there’s no pressure to be anything or say anything. That’s just a few things that bring me peace ❤️

Good morning. I find peace watching my kids activities. I enjoy forgetting about what’s around me and contemplating their life and just being grateful for that moment. - I don’t have social media. I use You Tube for comments .God bless.
I love hearing from these devotionals! God's been bringing me peace by reminding me to be still throughout the day. I'm typically busy planning and looking forward to the next thing, but I've found so much peace resting in His presence and learning to be content with where I am, because God is greater than my circumstances.

That’s one of my fav Scriptures 🥹🤍 That when our mind is stayed on the Lord, because we trust Him we have true peace! Such a gift! So freeing! The peace the Lord has brought me today has also been in my devotional time with Him and His Word! He showed me that it isn’t about the right method, but about my relationship with Him for whatever my need or desire may be! God is so so good! 🍂✨
I want to go to Vermont so badly! Or the northeast in this time of year. Luckily the Midwest has some beauty as well 😄

I'm sorry to hear that your skin reacted to the dermablading ! I use a tinkle razor once a week for my upper lip hair and around the chin area, I've been doing it for years but sometimes my skin might feel a tiny bit irritated! But I don't like having hair on my upper lip 🙊

Pro tip: sourdough starter can last in the fridge even longer than a week. Mine was totally fine when I left it for almost 3 weeks on vacation. They're pretty hard to kill.

for the dermaplaning and skin I cannot recommend enough getting into a regular cadence with an esthetician you trust!! I had awful acne, went on accutane, it came back as hormonal acne and when I was running out of options I tried an esthetician. It took 8 months but she was able to get rid of all my scarring and my skin has been clear ever since!!!

& what brings me peace is the Lord and his promises, one of my favorite verse is John 14:27 which reads, “My peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you; Let not your hearts be troubled neither let them be afraid.” he is good, he is sovereign and his plan is the best for us. this is something that gives me rest, that even when I am unsure, God always knows and he is right there with us!
