They should had re-record Geri's verse during the North American leg of the Spiceworld Tour to be released as a 5th single before the Wembley final concert. They went to the studio to record “Goodbye” back in the US, they had time. IT WAS JUST A VERSE :(
Totally agree. It's such a pity this song never ended up being released as a single; it's such a fun song and I think it would have been very successful. I always thought it was one of the best songs on the second album. It would have been amazing if they released it as a 5th single and as a double A side with a studio recording of We Are Family.
Apparently, they felt that it no longer makes sense to release a new single after Geri's departure. Go even Viva forever was not released in the US as a single. After all, singles are used to support and promote the album - they decided that after Geri's departure, it no longer makes sense to promote the album.
I believe they were in the middle of the Spiceworld Tour. Timing was the problem. There wasn't enough time to re-record the song and do a video for the track.
The frog 🐸 like sound effects in the background lol.😂😂
This has always been my second favourite song from the “Spiceworld” album and movie.❤️
Please more Spice Girls 🌼💐
This could be the fifth single if Geri not quit the band
