Zeus shard counts as a spell for Lotus Orb/Anti Mage shield. Ez counter (almost killed my entire team in a second without realizing)
I totally agree they ruined Zeus so hard ... i prefer the older version where u just stood in the backlines like a real mage dealing damage but this new patch transformed Zeus into a joke !

You're dealing magical damage when u right click?
Easily nullified by mag resis ... Try any tank with a pipe or even eternal shroud Zeus becomes useless ... Even meurta suffers when she ults against a pipe and she's got an insane passive giving her double damage.
Idk why but I think they nerfed the magical damage settings or increased the efficacy of the mag resis ... Anyways unless u go full physical or magical the damage won't be that good especially against high mmr players.
@@kerolouskadis8847 you can still go magic damage build but your farming is gonna be faster,
And you forget that zeus deals percentage damage on top of his magic damage Making it easier to out damage magic block and resist.
And you basically have more range than most range heroes so you can hang back behind clashes.
About anti mage and lotus, well that's a problem for past zeus anyways.
Edit: even the zeus before could be nullified by mag resist, sure he had percentage damage with everything he does but the CD of everything but arc lightning was too long for it to have been better than current zeus.
Right click arc lightning can bounce from towers and even players with bkb
You also don't even need mana to farm anymore. And with more farm on the map, you can easily farm faster without interfering with your carry or off lane than alot of midsand carries.
It also makes it possible for zeus to split push with manta

zeus shard can be countered using lotus. make him eat his own arc lighting. add BM for bonus brain damage
