Your mom is probably right girl.. sounds like your sciatica nerve.. that happens to me sometimes and it’s so painful!!!! mine lasts about 2 weeks before it goes away for awhile but then it comes back! It’s so annoying!!

It's possible that could be from your SI joint too, If you can see a good physical therapist they could probably tell you, but I don't recommend a chiropractor ever because the chiropractor was the one who injured my pelvis, but a physical therapist can gently correct it for you or help you with your needs.
