These guys are literally ‘the most creative’ guys I’ve ever seen. And melodically sound, and rhythmically sound. And structurally sound, everything sound, everything everything sound 😂🤣😂🤣
Saw these guys last night. They finished with No Reptiles and was the perfect remedy for 2 gig-starved years. Great to see a younger audience being captured by their new stuff too. Amazing live band. Not many bands can match their musicianship.
Massive thanks for uploading a full live set of EE with high quality and a decent mix! Sets like these give me life over lockdown. Anyone else emphatically singing along to No Reptiles in their room?
I am still fascinated by how satisfying the guitar is in the live version of Night Of the Long Knives. This is such a good sound that you can not hear otherwise so well.
@@INTERSTATE-35-WARRIOR Dudeeee, absolutely unreal. They have the massively under-appreciated talent of sounding exactly as they do live as they do recorded. It also helps that their songs are just really good. Trust me, you will not regret it. I can't wait to see them again
Being there live I can concur that his voice sounded a lot deeper, much like album versions... I guess acoustics played a lot into that live, and it doesn't make it to recording
I was there too and I agree, this sounds really bad and boring. Like, listen to Alex's guitar sounds that usually are great and present. Someone fucked this up or the performance didn't get any mixing afterwards.
Jesus! Good show and a lovely mix to boot. Some of those tracks off GTH should be near impossible to reproduce live. Lot of synth and sampling but that's how it should be.
Honestly I thought the sound was a bit flat here, drums not punchy enough for one thing.... but the performance still gave me goosebumps. They're so good.
Mad props to jonathan on breadwinner holy. You can tell he's not at 100% but he does so well even if his voice has been weakened a bit by the show. He still hits all the notes and makes smart choices when to change octave or step back and let jeremy take over. Great musician
Could have seen them six times, have actually seen them once. Reading 2011, caught a few of the last songs. Then Bristol O2, saw the full set from the balcony whilst suffering flu. Missed them at Victorious festival years later. Had tickets twice in the past year. Bristol O2, couldn't go out because of covid (thinking of vulnerable others, i felt ok). Then, somehow, forgot the date I had (free!) tickets for in Frome. Aside from a record shop promo at Rough Trade for the last album, I've seen them properly just once. Cursed, I tell you!
Sadly they neglect Man Alive in their recent setlists, I think their only song from that album on the Fever Dream tour was Qwerty Finger. Jon is quite active on social media and he replied to a question about it on a Breadwinner performance vid saying they had just gotten a bit bored of those songs after playing them for a decade. Hopefully they'll bring some of their classic tunes back for the RE-ANIMATOR tour!
Dan Dalesso I disagree. I think it's better than A Fever Dream overall. NASA Is On Your Side, Suffragette, Suffragette, and Final Form are some of my favorite songs they've ever written. In order from most to least favorite, my favorite albums are: Get To Heaven, Arc, Man Alive, A Fever Dream. I love all of 'em though.
I wear makeup alot, but I don't get this makeup trend happening in the crowd. The ultra high checkbone red blush looks like alot of women in this crowd were battered. Also, Everything Everything forever!

But thank you very much!
André Marques ahhh sorry, I don't know how I did that! I'll change it now 😂
what a setlist!!!!
Rees, you are the best!

Jeremy carrying the vocals in the chorus of ivory tower omg
Yes we love to see it

I'm with you on this whole comment, always have to sing along to No Reptiles too

My friends and I are on this video so much, we were going absolutely nuts. Big up Everything Everything for putting on an absolute rager. Class acts
Im glad to see a comment from someone who was there. Cant wait to catch them in concert!

I love them so much I have never ever understood ppls deep loyalty and love for a band until these guys. No shame, massively captivated fan
My favourite band of all time.

@@edva3533 i feel this way with the drum volume.

Under 3000 views for this awesomeness. People are lost.
Get to Heaven really shows what an amazing guitarist Alex is!!
Arte à diffusée du Everything Everything ? Meilleur chaîne du monde officiel !
This has gotta be the best set I’ve heard from EE.
Everyvtrack i hear by EE gives me another reason to fall in love with them. They need to collab with foals!
They did a tour w them no?
Mad props to jonathan on breadwinner holy.

Alex's voice is amazing too, i was watching them playing schoolin' for the mahogany sessions, when Alex sang "teach him how to hold"
Performance of can't do, cough cough & good shot, good soldier are sooo good here
Jesus this setlist is solid!
3:40 love that

Fucking amazing band. So proud to be a manc 🙌🏻
Looking forward to seeing the band at Latitude next week
Some incredible vocals from Jon here. Turn Pete up in the mix maybe?
Sad RE lack of Man Alive... Favourite album of all time.
Still absolute quality though! :)

💚💛💙💜❤️
man that solo in long knives would sound so much better with a second delay pedal
1:02:53 that's ok
theres something wrong but its okaaaaaaaaaaaay
Oh, did you imagine it in different way?
No songs from Man Alive? What the hell
Why dont play MY KZ UR BF? ):
No love for Man Alive? No bonus tracks or B-sides? A great performance, I loved every minute but still a little disappointed :D
Well, Breadwinner is a side but I feel you
They've mentioned in interviews that they're tired of playing Man Alive at this point...

Where can I find tour dates???? PLEASEEE
Got a little Devo going on....
