I love that you have a normal house and kitchen. Thank you for sharing this with us. I have definitely stepped up my game around being more organised since watching your channel as I only have two boys and no special needs so there is no excuse for me if you can do all this for a family of 12. I love how your your older boys look after the younger ones and while you make everything look easy, I’m sure building trust and making each person feel loved and special is no easy task. You and Josh make a great team not to mention the other family members who come over to help and support you. Very inspiring and thankful to be able to be part of your online family. Thank you.

That's so true ! I found this channel two days ago, I'm in third pregnancy waiting for second baby to come. I always dreamed of a big family but somewhere in back of my head there was a thought that I should provide my kids big house with newest furniture and all that stuff. When I see this normal, not high-polished lacquered furniture bought week ago without expensive useless gadgets and useless nice - looking stuff I see that I shouldn't feel bad for being happy just to stay at home with my kid, spending most of time outside in the forest, playgrounds and by doing all the chores with my son. He is two he know what we must buy in the grocery shop, he is vacuuming the floors and washing them, pushing laundry into full machine and later unloading it. Yet I don't have a car, I don't own my own flat where I live (I bought one but it was a mistake) and I quit my job after miscarriage. I am so happy but on the other side whole family is laughing at me as a lazy b...tch. Thank god I found this channel I feel like there is an amazing soul on the other side of camera that is super inspiring for me 😍

@@22misx you’re family may laugh at you now but when your kids wind up being kind and successful human beings you’ll be the one laughing. A good sign that you’re not failing as a parent is the fear that you are. I’m sure you’re doing an incredible job and your kids will grow up being kind, intelligent, empathetic souls

I love that you buy things that are for specific people, I’ve seen a lot of videos ( I’m thinking more of the large families) where the whole family eats exactly the same. I love that you respect your families needs and wants, sometimes it’s the really small things that make you feel loved, valued and secure!
@Rebecca Parker ... Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it too. Yet I actually feel guilty for liking the fact that she buys specific items even if only 1 or 2 or 3 kids like an item. I see the critical comments in the comment section sometimes and I put that together with the way I grew up with strict eating regimens and strict diets and mean comments, and I feel guilty for secretly liking how Alicia shops and feeds her family. As if I shouldn't approve or enjoy it. But I do like it and it feels very therapeutic and healing, because I am coming out of my shell and gaining new confidence. Thank you Alicia and family! 🥰

@@vmat2957 I do that for labeling leftovers. I always save them to use again and stick it on the side of my fridge. I have so many now that I can menu plan just by using the saved pieces 😁

I absolutely love that you have a "normal" kitchen. Small and simple. Im always semi sad I don't have a big fancy kitchen and have food stored all over my house. We are a large family too.

Love your family, and the love and security you give them. When I watch you cooking I always see you looking under the cabinet for your seasonings, ask Josh to have an electrician install lights under the cabinets my dad did this because we could never find anything, specially that short shelf at top hiding in the dark. He also installed a different switch for it. Blessings to your family

So much food compared to my family of 2, but perfect for feeding a dozen a day! I remember my cousin cooking for her family of 18 (yes, 18. 2 parents and 16 bio kids). Her spaghetti pot was massive, and the kids LOVED her cooking. You're awesome, thank you for great videos!

I agree. I see the mansion & large home tour videos with families w/2 or 3 kids, or no kids & it's nice. But I think it's really nice to see a family in a regular home doing extraordinary things. Alicia is a joy to watch. The way she organizes & stays on top of things for her large family is master class level.

I love that your house feels like a real home. I love that you cook for your children and have the energy to make those amazing detailed snack boards everyday for their snacks after school. I love that you don't give a fuck and make them real food and give them meat. Some families only cook them super healthy food or be very strict vegans and I love the fact you cook the traditional way.

I am a house of 4, my fiance (husband in 5 1/2 weeks ahhh!) My 9 year old, and 2 year old. My kitchen and food storage is so much like yours! We go through so much and I always like to buy extra for just in case! I have a stuffed kitchen, 2 shelf units, and 1 small cupboard unit! 1 normal single door fridge and a mini fridge inside, overflow fridge in the garage. We also have 4 cats, 2 lizards, 2 massive fish tanks, and I try to keep a small garden with veggies going and herbs year round. I also live in a very tiny house so it gets a little embarrassing when people walk in and see food shelves! 😅 my daughters friends love it, call it a mini mart. Snack time is always all the time!

Your kids are so lucky to have so many choices and in moderation snacks are the best. I spoil my grandkids when they come over with all kinds of goodies and I love to bake. A time-saving hint. It appears you always buy the same brand in spices. If so, put a label on the tops and just switch out the tops when you have to replace them. I don't know how you do so much in one day. It is both amazing and fun to watch your videos.

Love it that you are normal! Organized choas moms always know where the stuff is even if no one else can find it... we have a random shelf on one wall because there's never enough storage! I can't afford Wegmans for 2 or 3 much less 12 .... its a treat for subs and a dessert occasionally!

I found your channel a few days ago. It is so refreshing to see a 'normal' house like mine as opposed to instagram worthy. As much as I love other channels, it makes me feel a bit depressed as I can't keep my kitchen so super organised with only 5 kids.
Also a huge thanks to not having everything organic and healthy. That is so not affordable here in Australia when Capsicums are $15kg, Lettuce are $5.50ea and mandarins/oranges are $15kg.
So a big thank you for keeping it normal and not having everything look perfect. ❤

I love these type of videos! I think it’s awesome that you get special snacks for specific kids, it’s just another way to show how much you love them! You should get your seasonings like taco and ranch from Costco or Sam’s! They come in a huge bottle and then you don’t have to worry about going out to buy packets when you run out!
