This channel is so important to me because almost no other RUclipsr makes Pathfinder content. I have nothing against 5e or the Forgotten Realms but Pathfinder 1e was the first system I ever played and it’s still my absolute favorite system. It doesn’t get nearly as much love as it should and it’s really sad to me. Please keep doing more content.
Oh I don't plan to go anywhere. I know my videos are a bit slow, but I put a lot of work into them so that there as good as I can make them, and as fast as paizo is dropping books right now, I don't think I'll ever run out of material lol
As a little over into a year in 2e( coming from 5e) having a source of lore I can listen to on earbuds at work is a huge boon. Recently started dipping my toes as a gm and your a huge help.
One interesting facet I can see for Zon-Kuthon is to embrace the feeling of grief. Like the pain you feel for someone's loss is good and to move on is am insult. Another one is the idea that "It's only real love if it'a torture" that true love can only be measured by how much you suffer for one another.
In a Starfinder adventure, there's a minor NPC tattoo-artist/body-piercer who's secretly a Zon-Kuthon cultist. She whispers prays to ZK with every scratch and poke while working on her clients. *shiver*
I read somewhere that Zon-Kuthon specifically bans torturing the faithful of Shelyn, and will in fact punish those that do beyond their limits, because he still can’t bear to truly hurt his sister. Whether or not this is actually canon, I’m not sure. However, I think it adds an interesting nuance to him that makes him far more interesting. Could even play it as the one victory Dou-Bral’s caged spirit wins over the foreign entity Zon-Kuthon.
My partner played a cleric of zon kuthon in a pathfinder society game. They were more than mildliy sketched out by their weird sadomasochistic shenanigans
I'm glad you enjoy them! I'm gonna wrap up the evil gods with Rovagug, but when I start the good gods next, I think caiden will be the first one, I've had a lot of requests for him!
Zon-kuthon probably knows about future events because he has seen all of this happen before. He's pulling a futurama. He knew about the meteor, knew about the conquests, and knows all the events that are going to happen. He isn't predicting the future, he's remembering it. This could work against him, because if something unexpected happens it could change everything, and he won't know what to do. Which is pretty smart writing.
I would assume that's the gist, but I would imagine it's only the large events that he remembers. But at the same time I wonder how similar each universe really is, especially if he's tweaking things?
Oh man, let me know your thoughts on it! I don't have a group atm, but I've been thinking of buying that just to read it lol love the horror/Gothic stuff lol
Would you be interested in doing a video of Nocticula? As she's had an interesting history from one of the prime demon lords to a CN/CG (seems to be right on the border, even her divine domain) deity. Thank you, I only discovered you recently but I have greatly enjoyed your lore videos.
I am planning to get around to her, I have one evil God left, and then I'm going to start doing the good and neutral gods, and I'll probably alternate between them, so I will get around to her!
Should be noted that Nocticula was CE Demon Lord for most of her existience in 1e, (not until the final adventure, Tyrant's Grasp IIRC) so there might need to be two videos. First episode should be fun talking about how she boned her brother and was the patron of r@p1sts
Pinhead made into a pathfinder god. Though in the end, the person that became pinhead tries to redeem himself. I dont think Zon-Kuthon has the ability to do that.
I love this lore video. All of them are great. By the way have you heard of Geeks + Gamers Tabletop? I believe they're looking for someone to cover Pathfinder 2e content.

Well I'm mostly educated on these well sized lore videos, my request is if you could tell me more about the founding of the Pathfinder society, and what elements were drawn together to bring each faction to form the society.
This is the first time I have come across this channel, looking for some great lore. You're presentation is good, but I implore you to jettison the AI imagery in all future endeavors. It was trained on stolen art, and it looks tacky. Surely, you can come across some sort of substitution image - even if it is just a stock image of some books - before you present the next actual art asset a real human being made. Edit: I just looked at your most recent video, and see no AI art. Clearly someone else has brought up this concern, and you have acted on it. Thanks for your integrity.

Luckily the amount is growing a lot at the moment.
I really hope we get some more 'lore' focused channels though ^_^

Tower of tomes is another good channel

Nice, love your God videos! Would love you to do one on Caiden Cailen, the man who stumbled into godhood 😆

@@SirVertigo kind of interested if he is just rolling with it, or if he is trying to set things up for a big event
The part about the "choir" reminded me of Elric of Melnobine
Wow so much research went into this! Loved the video!!
I’ve never been able to find literally anything for P1e, thank you so much for your content it’s all p2e and 5e
Just discovered your channel! Delightful!
That was grim and interesting thanks a lot to all this lore resume.
This god was created by 90s kids in full emo mode after a hellblazer marathon from blockbuster.
Thanks for the content man! Love your videos…
Thanks for this... I'm prepping to DM the Blood Lords ap and this really helped with me understanding this god
Oh man, let me know your thoughts on it! I don't have a group atm, but I've been thinking of buying that just to read it lol love the horror/Gothic stuff lol
So basically hellraiser god.
Evil Pathfinder deities are great. Possible after watching all these videos I will love all of them
So cool thanks for covering the Midnight Lordz
I'm loving the A.I. imagery you used here!

Loving the videos! Are you planning on doing a video on Tian Xia?
10 mins longer than Norgorber, god of murders is not happy!
That just proves he's more skilled at hiding information about him than Zon-Kuthon is!
I was honestly surprised how long the video on the god or secrets was
