Excellent update! Great to see the engine running, and sounding great too! The combine is looking great, it looks to be in excellent condition and certainly your treatment works a treat!
Good update video ty 👍 engine sounds really good 💪 know it was running without an air cleaner but sounded so like s Bedford CF i drove, ive only ever stripped a fuel pump once and it had that same problem with the stop control 🙄 noticed the oil pressure gauge was well up in the red when engine was running and seems to be a Perkins thing as just about every machine ive driven with a Perkins showed high oil pressure 🙄 amazing how well the paintwork on the combine came up with the mop and ATF 👌 roll on next Saturdays video 👍
Was hoping to buy you a coffee today steve at market rasen auction . p6 e27n had your name on it untill it started in clouds of smoke and on 4 cylinders ,
@@FenlandCrusader the top of our hood was very tender and needed quite a lot of surgery! Yours looks in pretty sound condition all over and presumably hasn’t stood outside for long periods
Like the idea of using ATF and a polishing mop on the faded paintwork, i'm gonna try and get the boss (Dave Rushton machinery) to invest in a polisher as we need a means of reviving paintwork/plastics on the machines we get in (we do a lot of exporting pre electric/electronic and hydraulic combines to developing countries ---- they don'twant anything that can't be repaired by a bit of metalwork or replacing bushes/bearings, belts or chains).

Engine sounds great and the combine is looking amazing. It appears to be in excellent condition- we had a lot more tin worm in ours! Well done!
It's got a few bits on the top of hood radius, if i get time I'll sort them, but it'll run ok if not
