I read the book and I'm wondering if you know the answer perhaps. Did Hannah and Lena really go to Paris, the beach, met grandpa and so on? Because I get it that Lena used imagination for the cat and everything but why would she give the son sleeping pills if they didn't go anywhere? Did she not love her son?? Did he look too much like the father? Also if grandpa met Hannah at the party he would have recognized her so he must not have met her, yet the kid knew who he was? Did I miss something. I was up the whole night to read so jt is possible I was very sleeo deprived and missed something 😂😴

Exactly, no clarity about that plus there must be a good closure of kids they should’ve not ended in trauma centers
And there’s no clarity of how she (lena) actually died

From what I got it was a lol in the imagination. They never actually left the cottage. Lena just wanted her daughter to have that "experience" gave her an imagination and always spoke of her father so she would one day meet her grandpa and him not to be a complete stranger because Lena felt and knew in her heart her children would escape one day......

This sounds interesting. Kind of twisted and diabolical. This book is a recommended by Crime by the Book. Something I'll like to read after the holidays. Thanks for the review. Have a Happy and safe New Year .🎉😊
