Duncan has written and sung a beautiful song. He immediately entered my heart. Tears in my eyes and goose bumps. I have heard his song 300 times and I want to listen to it again and again. For me the big winner of 2019. Best song of the Netherlands ever. Please let Duncan win because it is a super song. Within an hour also at 1 at itunes.

It’s a story about a dear person who I lost at a young age. I've always had a hard time dealing with this lost. She had the love of her life but suddenly wasn’t there anymore. And until the end she had the hope that her loved one would come back before she died. But he didn't. And that HOPE I put in this song and video. yes you are right, this is phenomenal, this is music! this is emotion . Salvador Sobral, your Portuguese winner a few years ago, also was about music, about real emotion. Because only then there is a real connection with the listener. That happened with his song, and that is what happens with this 2019 song. same effect, same affect. masterpiece. I so hope this wins!

Yes, you're right...the Eurovision Song Festival should be about music and not about politcs (and IMO also not about looks/acts on stage, which seem to be more and more the case ;-)). And just only today I actually saw how Duncan looks like, but have heard the song already many times on the radio. The first time it gave me goose bumbs. But today it even brought me tears. I hope it will get the chance it deserves. Thx. for liking the NL song :-).
