Even when you are in Canada, changing DLI in the same province is different from changing DLI between provinces, like moving from Ontario to New Brunswick, that also get en own procedure. You doing a good job...keep it up.

Hi Marvin, i have a situation. I got accepted to MUN msc last year and applied visa but rcvd the visa in October 2023. So i had to defer to fall 2024. In the meantime i applied for PhD at SMU halifax and just got the offer letter yesterday. Now, do i need to do a semester at MUN before i change dli? But smu offer wont wait for 1 semester. And the next intake at smu is fall 2025. What to do now if i want to change dli without causing any illegal offence?

I finally did mine.. use the same process he gave but in the part they ask for when your current program began put the date you entered Canada.. at least that’s what I did and I was able to proceed.

Yes you can, but make sure you dont stay out of school for more than 150 days
