Very interesting technology. Not something seen in Australia I believe. As for loading chute, is there is an apron feeder just before that? Or is the chute fed directly from an overhead ore bin and the angle of that chute is all that control flow? Would love to know more.
This technology is very common in Canadian UG mines, as well as many other parts of the world. I can't say forsure, but most likely a pressframe to control the throat opening is part of this equipment, just above the hanging chains. Above that is an orepass. Typically no feeders, just gravity, which is why material testing and selecting proper geometry is critical.
