Absolutely stunning compositions all throughout. The black and white and 4:3 are both perfect for such a simple and warm project. Thanks for sharing this.

This was so good: great atmosphere/scenery combined with sincere and softspoken storytelling. Really well done!

This is beautiful. I like the slow pacing and the mostly static frames with something moving in them: water, the wind-propeller thingie, clouds. The shot with the tunnel when people showed up at the other side and then hesitated I thought was funny.

The cinematography in this is great. Every shot looks beautiful, well-composed and with the camera settings properly adjusted.
It can be really relaxing to just go around where you live and take in the environment just to really enjoy it. You don't appreciate things the same way when you're just walking by them on your way to something else. Despite it being rainy, it seems like it was a good sort of day to go out and be outside for the sake of it. It was nice hearing your thoughts on your past and what these places reminded you of, or your memories of them. A lot of interesting snippets here and there.
Overall a really well-made film that I think accomplishes what it sets out to do. Nice work!

Hey Jesse, thanks so much for sharing this piece of your hometown and your life. It made me think about what changes, what stays the same, and what we notice about ourselves and the things around us as time goes by. I do think, sometimes, that it would be nice if things could stay the same. It's a really touching movie and - as other people have said - just beautifully composed. I like the pacing too. Hope the rain lets up and the park dries out a bit:)

Thank you Jonathan, that's really kind of you to say. It is sad to think that change is just a part of getting older, as is all of the inevitable loss that comes with it, but it can also mean some pretty great things too if we give it the chance :) Thank you again for watching!

Your neighbourhood looks really nice! Thank you for sharing a little bit of your world with us. It seems very peaceful where you live. I really admire your willingness to just go out and make this, I find it hard to film by myself in public. Lots of anxiety, I guess. You produced some really beautiful shots and I enjoyed hearing your stories and thoughts. I also really enjoyed that chance meeting you had with that friendly stranger, you captured a magic moment there.

Thank you Adam that's very nice of you to say. I also have a lot of anxiety filming by myself, I've had many instances where people have confronted me in negative ways, and the stranger in the film was indeed a magic moment that I've never experienced until making this. Thank you again for taking the time to watch it, I adored your film "How's Your Love Life?" as well

came back to this today as I’ve been back in Clayton for the first extended period of time in over a year. These locations really do bring about this strange sense of stillness, it isn’t necessarily sad, nor happy, nor really is it nostalgic, it just sort of is what it is. You capture the stillness of this place so well in this film. Your talent and vision always amazes me my friend.

Great film bro, glad I saw it on your IG. The subtle hints to the state of your mental health were great touches. Also felt certain feelings of confusion throughout which kept my focus on the film.

I love the visual composition and your stories, you went on such a beautiful walk! I've also found it difficult to make true friends in school and in general, especially in the past few years literally everyone seems to have become even more introverted than me lol! Anyways, you're not alone :)

I had an old abandoned chicken coup for so long! Haha, brings back memories. It's nice seeing new places from an audience point of view, even when the creator knows things have changed. Also, making friends is hard when you get older, and I wish you the best of luck with that. I loved swinging at parks, until I broke a swing lol! I wasn't fat, it was just an old swing. I'm sorry you didn't get a good appreciation for your short film, is it on your channel?

Thank you Jennifer I really appreciate that and for taking the time to watch this, I loved your film Sulit so it means a lot that you could resonate with this in some way. Unfortunately that short is considered a lost film otherwise I would post it on this channel, but don’t worry I can assure you are not missing anything haha

Fellow cross country runner here. That's where I found my greatest sense of community in high school. Totally related to what you said about limited opportunities to meet people even though you're surrounded by them.
Your film was really nice after a long day. The black and white and aspect ratio did the film justice as well as your shot composition. Every shot felt artfully thought out
